SliCE and Steven Singer Jewelers Team Up for Valentine's with Heart-Shaped Pizzas and Gold-Dipped Roses

Two local small businesses are teaming up with the most unique Valentine's Day gifts in the region. Steven Singer Jewelers returns for Valentine's with their signature 24 kt. gold-dipped roses, including a new color with Emerald City Green. Singer is open at their location at 739 Walnut with special Valentine's Weekend hours. SliCE is also taking orders and delivering heart-shaped pizza grams now through Valentine's Day in Fishtown, Northern Liberties, Center City, South Philly, University City and Washington Township. Together, the two have joined forces and Singer is donating part of the proceeds from Valentine's gold-dipped rose sales to support SliCE and feed over 750 health heroes and frontline staff heart-shaped pizzas this week at both Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Pennsylvania Hospital. On Valentine's Day itself the two will again team up and three lucky heart gram recipients will find a special gold-dipped rose with their heart-shaped pizza.

Main Line Today Restaurant Week Kicks Off February 21st with Over Thirty Restaurants

Main Line Today and Today Media announce the 2022 Main Line Today Restaurant Week, presented by Firstrust Bank, running February 21st through March 6th, 2022. The 14-day culinary celebration will bring together and showcase the talents of top chefs, restaurants and purveyors in Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties. Participating restaurants will offer special three-course prix fixe menus for lunch ($26.95, plus tax, beverage and gratuity) and dinner ($39.95, plus tax, beverage and gratuity). Restaurants can choose what works best for them, offering lunch, dinner, or both—dine-in or takeout. Foodies from across the tri-state area are invited to save the date, make their reservations, and come hungry for the tastiest weeks of the summer. Early sign-ups have netted some of the most celebrated names in the Main Line region, including Amis Trattoria, Autograph Brasserie, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, Estia Taverna, Founding Farmers, Fox and Hounds Pub at the Desmond, The Greystone Oyster Bar, Jasper's Backyard, Limoncello, Lola's Garden, Mikado Thai Pepper, Pizzeria Vetri, King of Prussia, Rosalie, Savona, Terrain Cafe, Verbena BYOB and more. New Mardi Gras Pop-up Bar Brings Taste of New Orleans to Philadelphia

Craftsman Row Saloon, at 112 S. 8th Street, announces the opening of Philadelphia's only Mardi Gras Pop-up Bar Experience starting this Thursday, February 3rd through Fat Tuesday, on Tuesday, March 1st. The sites, sounds and tastes of The Big Easy come to Philly with a special limited-time pop-up experience that includes everything from an over-the-top King of Bourbon Street Milkshake, King Cake glittering gold, green and purple sweet potato fries, dirty rice, and Bourbon Street inspired cocktails. Cocktails come with beads, masks and/or other souvenirs pending the specific beverage. The award-winning Christmas pop-up decorations from December have been entirely replaced by thousands of glittery beads, feathers, masquerade masks and other decor to transport you to Mardi Gras. Decor includes a giant gold, green and purple masquerade mask above the dining room, plus mini vignettes paying homage to some of New Orleans' most famous streets and destinations. The floor to ceiling transformation continues both inside the dining room and outside in the Craftsman Row Saloon streetry (for warm weather days). For music, listen for a mix of Mardi Gras and New Orleans classics and staples, festive jazz and even some Mummers' favorite tunes. Craftsman Row Saloon Mardi Gras Pop-up Bar Experience opens this Thursday and runs through Fat Tuesday.

Celebrate Year of Tiger with Chinese and Lunar New Year at Dim Sum House, The Fin and Hello Vietnam

Celebrate the Year of the Tiger with three Asian-owned businesses below celebrating Chinese New Year and/or Lunar New Year. Celebrations start as early as January 30 and run through mid-February. In University City and Rittenhouse, two of the largest Chinese restaurants, bars, lounges and event spaces in the city present a special menu of food and drink, plus two events with firecrackers, decorations and the traditional lion dance. Dim Sum House by Jane G's will celebrate starting January 30th through February 13th, with special events on February 5th. In Fishtown, The Fin celebrates its first-ever Lunar New Year and Lantern Festival on Valentine's Day Monday, February 14, 2022 with a special menu, an extensive list of special cocktails, a chance for prizes through the golden ticket cocktail, lanterns and decor and more. The Montreal Beach Resort in Cape May Announces New Owners and Major Property Updates

As perhaps one of the longest family owned and operated businesses in Cape May, the Montreal Beach Resort and Harry’s Ocean Bar and Grille have finally changed hands after 56 years in business. The new owner is Madison Resorts, a locally owned hospitality management company headed by property operations veteran Dan Alicea, who has previously worked in the local market, as well as led the revitalization of two historic resorts on the east coast.

Grand Opening: Stove and Tap Owners Debut GBU Bar and Speakeasy in West Chester

Downtown West Chester will get a colorful new addition to its bustling food and drink scene this week. Stove and Co. Restaurant Group partners Justin Weathers and Joseph Monnich announce the grand opening of Good Bad and Ugly this Thursday, January 27th at 4:00pm at 158 West Gay Street, underneath Stove and Tap West Chester. This is the first-ever bar-focused concept from the owners/partners of Stove and Tap, Revival Pizza Pub, Al Pastor and DePaul's Table. This opening represents the group's fifth grand opening during the pandemic as they expand across the Main Line and Western Suburbs. Good Bad and Ugly is Stove and Co's playful and modern twist on an old-fashioned underground dive bar, where they will serve up drinks, beers, bar food, vibes, games, music and sports five nights a week. There are three sides to every story and GBU will tell them all - the good, the bad and the ugly. Come as you are, be who you are, and be prepared to let your hair down and have a good ole time. The 2,000 square foot space features seating for 52 people, including at the giant 80+ foot long bar. Games include West Chester's only pool table, plus foosball and shuffleboard. Modern day cowboy vibes take inspiration from old fashioned spaghetti westerns and bring together elements from the owners' love of Clint Eastwood and Quentin Tarantino movies. Russian Ballet Theatre Presents New Production of Swan Lake in Trenton, Sewell and Reading

Russian Ballet Theatre announces a breathtaking new production of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake that will travel to 52 cities across the United States, with four local stops in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ballet fans will have the unique opportunity to enjoy this update on a classic, with dates set for Sunday, February 13th in Newark at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center; Tuesday, February 15th in Trenton at the Patriots Theatre at the War Memorial; Wednesday, February 16th in Sewell, South Jersey at Investors Bank Performing Arts Center; and Thursday, February 17th in Reading at the Santander Performing Arts Center. Broadway Smash Choir Boy Ready to Bring Joy Back to Stage During Philadelphia Premiere

Philadelphia Theatre Company kicks off 2022 with the Philadelphia Premiere of a TONY® Award-winning play from an Academy Award winning writer. Audiences return to PTC for soaring gospel music and a story about singing in your own key as Tarell Alvin McCraney’s Choir Boy takes the stage. Directed by PTC Resident Artist Jeffrey L. Page, this electric play about a young man creating his own path at a storied prep school features a new Gospel and R&B score created by celebrated musician Crystal Monee Hall, who serves as composer and musical director. The show runs February 18 – March 13. Opening night for press is Friday, February 25 at 7 pm. Tickets are on sale now starting at $35. Chef Jose Garces Announces Two New Locations for Buena Onda Coming to Philadelphia and the Main Line

Iron Chef Jose Garces announces the expansion of Buena Onda across the region with two new locations coming to Center City Philadelphia and the Main Line. Buena Onda is Chef's famed taqueria that is inspired by the spirit and good vibes of Mexico's Baja Peninsula. The new locations will open in early to late spring in the Rittenhouse neighborhood, at 114 S. 20th Street, and in Radnor, at 200 Radnor Chester Rd. Each new location will offer Buena's signature dishes such as environmentally conscious seafood tacos, classic tacos, Buena bowls, nachos, guacamole, chips and salsa, rice and beans, churros and many other offerings.
