Craftsman Row Saloon Debuts New Halloween Nightmare Before Christmas Pop-Up

Craftsman Row Saloon, at 112 S. 8th Street, announces the return of their Halloween pop-up experience. This year Philadelphia's most famous holiday theme pop-up restaurant will go over the top for a new Tim Burton inspired experience that will have you saying Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetle.. and Friends! This year the theme is Nightmare Before Christmas - and Friends. Building off the popularity of the first year and inspired by the movie, characters such as Jack Skellington, Sally and the Boogie Man are  joined by friends from Beetlejuice and the series Wednesday. Come ready for 2,000 more Halloween Lights, 100’s more skull and bones, 500 more feet of cobwebs, 50 more floating ghouls plus nods to your favorite characters. Booths are even adorned in Beetlejuice fashion and several skeleton walls and spooky candles frame the space.  With the Halloween take-over in the dining room comes with two new themed milkshakes that are over-the-top and feature elaborate decorations, giant cookies and more. On the Halloween menu of food additions look for pumpkin mac n cheese, witches fingers, Jack-O’-Lantern Guacamole and Chips, Jack's Baked Mac and Cheese, Sally's Quesadillas, Mummy Stromboli, Vampire Burger and more. From the bar, look for a special menu of potions and cocktails including a Blood Bag, Charman Marg, Pumpkin King Marg, Pinata Full of Spiders Mojito, Skellington Sangria and a special drink paying nod to Beetlejuice himself. Glu Hospitality and Temple Announce New Restaurant for Former Draught Horse

Glu Hospitality and Temple University are proud to announce a brand new modern grill and sports bar in the former home of The Draught Horse. The Peabody will make its grand debut this fall at 1431 Cecil B. Moore Avenue, on the west side of Broad Street. The 6,000 square foot space will have 40 seats at the bar and another 150 in the dining area. A large private dining space can hold 50 guests and be split into two for private parties. There will also be outdoor seating on Cecil B. Moore. The menu will feature American cuisine presented by Executive Chef Chino Chang with a wide variety of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, entrees and more. The drink menu will include signature and seasonal cocktails designed by Glu's award winning beverage team that is known for cocktails at Leda and the Swan, Vesper Center City and Figo. In addition to cocktails, look for ten draft lines pouring, plus bottles and cans, with craft beer, popular domestic selections, ciders, hard seltzers and more. The food and drink menus are designed to cater to students, faculty, family, alumni and neighbors. When opened, The Peabody will offer lunch, happy hour and dinner seven days a week, with weekend brunch service.

Restaurant Group partners Justin Weathers and Joseph Monnich announce the grand opening of Good Bad and Ugly this Thursday, January 27th at 4:00pm at 158 West Gay Street, underneath Stove and Tap West Chester. This is the first-ever bar-focused concept from the owners/partners of Stove and Tap, Revival Pizza Pub, Al Pastor and DePaul's Table. This opening represents the group's fifth grand opening during the pandemic as they expand across the Main Line and Western Suburbs. Good Bad and Ugly is Stove and Co's playful and modern twist on an old-fashioned underground dive bar, where they will serve up drinks, beers, bar food, vibes, games, music and sports five nights a week. On a Human Scale is a project which unites voices and faces of the world through technology. The project started as an experiment, by filming everyday New Yorkers singing. Before I Die is a global participatory public art project that reimagines our relationship with death and with one another in the public realm. Originally created by artist Candy Chang in New Orleans after the death of a loved one, the artwork invites people to reflect and share their personal aspirations in public.

Sueño showcases Day of the Dead inspired decor, original art pieces from the region's top artists, traditional and fusion Mexican cuisine by Executive Chef Caroline Hough, Puerto Rican-style empanadas from Tata's Empanadas, margaritas and cocktails, and an extensive list of tequilas. This new pop-up restaurant will occupy the first two floors of the building that Sourias recently purchased before the global pandemic.
