Ghosts and ghouls, witching hour approaches. Teddy Sourias and Craft Concepts Group - the creators of Philadelphia's Christmas Pop-up Bar - announces the grand opening of Nightmare Before Tinsel. Philadelphia's Halloween Pop-up Bar will creak open its doors earlier than ever before for the start of September Spooky Season. Starting this Friday, September 17, 2021, at 4:00pm, enter a spooky new world created inside a 100+ former jewelry store space at 116 S. 12th Street in Midtown Village. Among the ghosts that still haunt the space - including the ghosts of Tinsel's past - look for eerie ambiance, scary photo opps, witches bru cocktails, seasonal fall beers, costumed bartenders, and tons of frights and flights. For 2021, Nightmare Before Tinsel will debut its new season theme with The Devil's Lair where The Devil of Midtown Village invites visitors on a trip to the underworld they won't ever forget.

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) presents a double dose of spooktacular fun with free activities for the kids, adults and even fido too! East Passyunk Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday returns on Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Family activities include costume contests (for children and dogs), pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, storytime with the Free Library Book Bike, live music, scarecrow scavenger hunt, trick or treating, pet treats and more. For the grown-ups, enjoy live music, 40+ craft and arts vendors, fall fare, spirited cocktails, and more.

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) presents a double dose of spooktacular fun with the 3rd Annual Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday on Saturday, October 25, 2014, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Spooky Saturdayfree family fun will include cider and donuts, pumpkin painting, costume contests (for children and dogs), pet treats, art lessons, children’s dance party and pet adoptables. Fall Fest will feature outdoor seasonal fare from local restaurants and food trucks, 40 local artists and crafters, live bands, sidewalk sales and a fall plant sale. Business between the Singing Fountain and Mifflin Triangle (Mifflin and East Passyunk) will open doors to trick or treaters. Free bags will be given away to the first 500 children. Most activities will be held at the Singing Fountain (EPA and Tasker), with select activities to be held at Mifflin Triangle (EPA and Mifflin). East Passyunk Scares Up Halloween Fun During Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday

East Passyunk Avenue presents spooktacular fun with Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday on Saturday, October 26, 2013, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. This annual Halloween celebration will feature free activities for children, adults and even fido too! Spooky Saturday activities include cider and donuts, pumpkin painting, costume contests for children and dogs, pet treats, art lessons and a kids’ dance party. Trick or treating will expand this year to include the blocks between the Singing Fountain and the Mifflin Triangle. Free treat bags will be available at the Singing Fountain for the first 500 children courtesy of Aversa PR & Events. Fall Fest activities will include a craft show curated by Nice Things..Handmade, three live bands, pumpkins and fall foliage at Urban Jungle, a raffle from Philadelphia Scooters, and adoptables from Operation Ava, PAWS and Pig Placement Network. Food and drink will be provided by Ms. Goody Cupcake, The Tot Cart, Stateside, El Zarape, Mamma Maria Ristorante, Stogie Joe’s, Noord, Fond and Belle Cakery.
