South Street Scares Up Family Fun During Pumpkinfest

South Street Headhouse District has plenty of tricks and treats for children and adults of all ages during the neighborhood’s annual Halloween festivities. On Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, South Street Pumpkin Fest returns to Headhouse Square (2nd and Lombard) with circus performances, horse and wagon hay rides, crafts for kids, seasonal bites, pumpkin putt-putt golf, a straw bale maze, face painting and costume contests and even a a pumpkin pie eating contest. Businesses will also open their doors for trick or treaters (12 and under) from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

South Street Headhouse District (SSHD) presents a new fall festival with tricks and treats for adults and children of all ages. PumpkinFest takes over Second Street's Headhouse Plaza between Pine and South Streets, on Saturday, October 31, 2015, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Live music, shopping, seasonal bites and brews, football bungee challenge, straw bale maze, circus performances, horse and wagon hay rides, face painting and more. South Street businesses will open their doors for trick or treating (children 12 and under) from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. PumpkinFest is free, with food, drink and shopping pay-as-you-go. Kids of all ages will delight in free circus, dance, music and magic performances, plus hay rides, pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, storytelling and a fall shopping bazaar with PHAIR. Philadelphia Doubles the Halloween Fun with East Passyunk Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) presents a double dose of spooktacular fun with the 3rd Annual Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday on Saturday, October 25, 2014, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Spooky Saturdayfree family fun will include cider and donuts, pumpkin painting, costume contests (for children and dogs), pet treats, art lessons, children’s dance party and pet adoptables. Fall Fest will feature outdoor seasonal fare from local restaurants and food trucks, 40 local artists and crafters, live bands, sidewalk sales and a fall plant sale. Business between the Singing Fountain and Mifflin Triangle (Mifflin and East Passyunk) will open doors to trick or treaters. Free bags will be given away to the first 500 children. Most activities will be held at the Singing Fountain (EPA and Tasker), with select activities to be held at Mifflin Triangle (EPA and Mifflin).
