Philadelphia School of Circus Arts Transforms Historic Mt. Airy Church into Philadelphia's Newest Halloween Decoration

Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (6452 Greene Street) presents frights and feats during the debut of Haunted Circus Mansion, running every Saturday through October 27, 2018. Come out and explore the dark and spooky paths inside one of Mt. Airy’s most mysterious and grand 100-year old properties. By day, the former home of St. Madeleine Sophie Church in West Mt. Airy is filled with laughter and joy of circus students learning a new skill. By night, when the sun goes down, the spirits come alive and enchant the dark hallways, cavernous classrooms and long-forgotten secret spaces. Get ready for a night of haunting and enchantment during this one-of-a-kind experience.

South Street Scares Up Family Fun During Pumpkinfest, Trick-Or-Treating And Halloween Movies Under The Shambles

South Street Headhouse District has plenty of tricks and treats for children and adults of all ages during the neighborhood’s annual Halloween festivities. On Saturday, October 29, 2016, from Noon extending into the evening, PumpkinFest returns to Headhouse Square (2nd and Lombard). From 12:00pm to 5:00pm, enjoy circus performances, magicians, horse and wagon hay rides, live music, shopping, seasonal bites, straw bale maze, pumpkin decorating, make and take crafts, face painting and new costume contests. Businesses will open their doors for trick or treaters (12 and under) from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. After hours, starting at 6:00pm, the little ghosts and goblins are invited for some fright night family fun with Halloween Movies under the Shambles with a showing of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and “Beetlejuice.” The frightfully fun day concludes with a special grown-up interactive late night showing of the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" starting at 9pm hosted by DJ Robert Drake.

Philadelphia Doubles the Halloween Fun with East Passyunk Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) presents a double dose of spooktacular fun with the 3rd Annual Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday on Saturday, October 25, 2014, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Spooky Saturdayfree family fun will include cider and donuts, pumpkin painting, costume contests (for children and dogs), pet treats, art lessons, children’s dance party and pet adoptables. Fall Fest will feature outdoor seasonal fare from local restaurants and food trucks, 40 local artists and crafters, live bands, sidewalk sales and a fall plant sale. Business between the Singing Fountain and Mifflin Triangle (Mifflin and East Passyunk) will open doors to trick or treaters. Free bags will be given away to the first 500 children. Most activities will be held at the Singing Fountain (EPA and Tasker), with select activities to be held at Mifflin Triangle (EPA and Mifflin). East Passyunk Scares Up Halloween Fun During Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday

East Passyunk Avenue presents spooktacular fun with Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday on Saturday, October 26, 2013, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. This annual Halloween celebration will feature free activities for children, adults and even fido too! Spooky Saturday activities include cider and donuts, pumpkin painting, costume contests for children and dogs, pet treats, art lessons and a kids’ dance party. Trick or treating will expand this year to include the blocks between the Singing Fountain and the Mifflin Triangle. Free treat bags will be available at the Singing Fountain for the first 500 children courtesy of Aversa PR & Events. Fall Fest activities will include a craft show curated by Nice Things..Handmade, three live bands, pumpkins and fall foliage at Urban Jungle, a raffle from Philadelphia Scooters, and adoptables from Operation Ava, PAWS and Pig Placement Network.
