South Philly’s most beloved Halloween tradition is back and bigger than ever! On Saturday, October 31, 2026 (11AM–4PM), East Passyunk Fall Fest returns for its 14th year transforming East Passyunk Avenue into a festive, family-friendly block party filled with 110+ artists and makers, live music, trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving, dog and costume contests, and seasonal eats and drinks.
For one night only, one of Philadelphia's most famous and celebrated Italian restaurants will go all gluten-free! Le Virtù at 1927 E. Passyunk Avenue will present a special gluten-free, celiac safe dining experience on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. From when Le Virtù closes its doors on Wednesday night to Thursday afternoon, Chef and the staff will do a deep clean of the kitchen, bar and prep areas to present GF versions of their favorite dishes and special features - all celebrating and paying homage to the flavors and traditions of Abruzzo. Every single dish - from antipasti, primi, secondi, contorni, dolci - will be GF and celiac safe - and include Philadelphia's only versions of top hits like Buckwheat tortiglioni with octopus ragu and cuttlefish ink, Spaghetti with goat ragu, Green Pea Fusilli, Rigatoni alla Vittoria, Peposo red wine braised beef shoulder, Grilled Pumpkin alla Parmigiana and Toasted Gnocchi. All dishes are a la carte and available to order pay-as-you-go, no ticket is required.
One of America's most extravagant and authentic Italian dining traditions is returning to Philadelphia, where the unofficial motto for the day is "eat until you bust." Le Virtù, the South Philly restaurant honoring the cuisine of Italy's Abruzzo region, will host La Panarda on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. The eight-hour experience is an excessive, joyful family-style feast featuring at least 40 dishes served over a multi-hour span, testing the resolve of cooks and diners alike. Prepared by Executive Chef Andrew Wood and inspired by the annual sacred Panarda held in Villavallelonga, Abruzzo since 1657, the feast is widely recognized as the only authentic representation of that tradition held anywhere in the United States.
