Glu Hospitality Debuts Leda and The Swan Popup Cocktail Garden in Northern Liberties

Glu Hospitality presents a limited-edition end-of-summer experience with the grand opening of Leda and The Swan Pop-up Cocktail Garden at 1033 N. 2nd Street, running from Saturday, August 21 to Sunday, September 5, 2021. The new al fresco cocktail and music hideaway will pop-up outside of the former home of Wahlburgers, next to the Piazza and across from El Camino and SET No Libs. This outdoor space come September will be part of one of the city's largest openings of the year when Glu will debut two side-by-side restaurant concepts Figo Ristorante and Figo Pizzeria. While partners Derek Gibbons and Tim Lu put the finishing touches on the new restaurants, they wanted to activate the gorgeous outdoor patio and covered bar with a cocktail garden featuring the best of Leda and The Swan's carefully curated menu that was designed by well-known cocktail veterans Ryan Fenton and Zach Kessler.

Philadelphia Restaurants Celebrate National Tequila Day With Drink And Food Specials

Philadelphia restaurants are shaking and stirring up drink and food specials to celebrate National Tequila Day on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Whether you like them straight up, on the rocks or frozen, there are features, specials and deep deals for every palate and expertise level. Head to Philadelphia’s new taco and tequila capital in Northern Liberties on and around N. 2nd Street for deals and features at Añejo Philly, SET NoLibs, El Camino, Germantown Garden and Vesper Dayclub. Glu Hospitality debuts its first-ever breakfast and lunch concept Bagels and Co (1001 N 2nd St) with a grand opening celebration between Friday, June 4 and Sunday, June 13, 2021. Derek Gibbons and Tim Lu, the dynamic duo behind Germantown Garden Grill, Vesper Dayclub, Leda and the Swan, Germantown Garden Grill, Hunnies Crispy Chicken, The Igloos at Germantown Garden and Vesper Center City, are proud to debut a 1,100 square foot breakfast, lunch, coffee and bagel cafe and shop that is modern, clean, simple and stylish, complete with an opening menu filled with over a dozen varieties of Brooklyn-style Bagels, over two dozen inventive, creative and signature cream cheeses and spreads, along with fresh made-to-order sandwiches, salads, baked goods and other goodies. On the coffee side, Bagels and Co. is ready to give the neighborhood a jolt with fresh-brewed coffee in partnership with D’Amico Coffee Roasters.
