The Garden Brings Waterfront Dining Back to Cherry Street Pier for Spring and Summer

FCM Hospitality announces the 2021 opening for The Garden at Cherry Street Pier featuring stunning waterfront views, beer garden vibes, seasonal summer sips and local fare. The outdoor oasis is a stunning open-air eatery with 20,000 square feet of space featuring 250 covered shaded seats, floor to ceiling trees, blooming flowers, lush greenery, wooden picnic benches, modern art, urban design - and of course, amazing day and night views of the sunning Benjamin Franklin Bridge. For food, look for a menu of casual bites including sandwiches, salads, dips, snacks - as well as pastries and breads from the famous Lost Bread Co. For beverages, look for all of your favorite summer sips and seasonal selections, including beer, wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. Notable selections include beer created at FCM Hospitality's Craft Hall by Mainstay Independent Brewing and also Philadelphia's first black-owned brewery Two Locals Brewing Company.

Philadelphia's largest open-air outdoor restaurant is coming back! FCM Hospitality and owner Avram Hornik announce that Morgan's Pier (221 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd.) will open for the year starting on Thursday, April 22nd at 4:00pm. Now celebrating its tenth season the Delaware River, the region's top al fresco dining destination and tourism hot spot will bring back the summertime vibes, breathtaking views, great food and thirst-quenching drinks to the Waterfront. For this special milestone season, Morgan's Pier welcomes Chef Waldemar (Val) Stryjewski taking the helm in the kitchen with a brand-new menu of returning and new favorites - with an expanded selection of seafood, snacks, small plates, flatbreads sandwiches, sweets and kids' favorites. New dishes include Fried Scallops, Salmon Crudo, Chicken Empanadas, Lobster Roll, Grilled Chicken and Pulled Pork (from the Craft Hall new BBQ menu). Flatbreads made with the famous dough from Lost Bread Co. will include Margherita, Spinach and Chorizo. New for 2021, beyond the new top chef in the kitchen and food items, look for a tenth anniversary cocktail, brand-new boozy popsicles in six flavors and the addition of beer selections from Philadelphia's first-black brewery Two Locals Brewing.

Philadelphia Zoo (3400 W Girard Avenue) will kick-off spring of 2019 with an exciting new exhibit, the return of a Philadelphia tradition, and a new food destination. 

Starting Saturday, April 6, 2019, guests will be invited to experience Creatures of Habitat and take a fantastical adventure visiting 12 amazing life-size LEGO® brick vignettes situated throughout the Zoo. This gazillion piece journey shares the issues animals are facing around the world and spotlights the heroes working to save them.  Each life-sized LEGO® brick scene is intricately fashioned from thousands of LEGO® bricks and is on exhibit only at Philadelphia Zoo through September 30th.
