Bagels and Co. Celebrates Grand Opening in Fishtown with Free Bagels and Coffee

Bagels and Co. is about to take over Philadelphia with a citywide expansion that will see six new bagel and coffee shops expand to six new locations. Glu Hospitality and co-owners Derek Gibbons and Tim Lu announce that the popular Northern Liberties-based bagel, coffee, lunch and deli shop will now open new locations in Fishtown, Brewerytown, Temple Campus, Rittenhouse, Midtown Village and Center City. The first new location is now ready! Bagels and Co. Fishtown will grand open this Friday, November 18th, with a free bagel and cream cheese giveaway between 8:00am to 10:00am and no purchase necessary. On Saturday, November 19th the grand opening continues with free coffee from 9:00am to 11:00am.

Northern Liberties, the years of waiting are over and Philly's hottest food neighborhood finally will get its bagel shop! Glu Hospitality debuts its first-ever breakfast and lunch concept Bagels and Co (1001 N 2nd St) with a grand opening celebration between Friday, June 4 and Sunday, June 13, 2021. Derek Gibbons and Tim Lu, the dynamic duo behind Germantown Garden Grill, Vesper Dayclub, Leda and the Swan, Germantown Garden Grill, Hunnies Crispy Chicken, The Igloos at Germantown Garden and Vesper Center City, are proud to debut a 1,100 square foot breakfast, lunch, coffee and bagel cafe and shop that is modern, clean, simple and stylish, complete with an opening menu filled with over a dozen varieties of Brooklyn-style Bagels, over two dozen inventive, creative and signature cream cheeses and spreads, along with fresh made-to-order sandwiches, salads, baked goods and other goodies. On the coffee side, Bagels and Co. is ready to give the neighborhood a jolt with fresh-brewed coffee in partnership with D’Amico Coffee Roasters.

Revolution Taco Owners Open New Cafe in East Falls at Sherman Mills

Chefs Mike Sultan and Carolyn Nguyen announce the grand opening of The Mills Cafe in East Falls at Sherman Mills (3510 Scotts Lane). The new casual breakfast and lunch spot is their second brick and mortar that includes Revolution Taco in Center City, as well as Say Cheese Philadelphia, Street Food Philly and Taco Mondo food trucks, and 33rd Street Hospitality Catering. The Mills Cafe seats ten people, and is now open 9:00am to 3:00pm,Tuesday to Friday. It is located adjacent to the duo’s commissary kitchen that sources all their brands.
