Garces Debuts Spanish Wine Shop with Opening of Tinto Pintxo in Rittenhouse

Garces announces the return of Tinto in Rittenhouse Square - but this time with a new wine bottle shop, a new menu and a new name. Tinto Pintxo is now open at 114 S. 20th Street, next to Village Whiskey. This new Spanish wine shop currently features 70+ wine selections by the bottle to go, tasting flights, rare/collectible gems, discounted bundles and even a new wine club. When indoor dining returns at 50% capacity, the kitchen will open and bring with it an exciting new menu focusing on pintxos, which are bites from northern Spain notably the Basque region. Tinto's wine shop will remain open as well when indoor dining begins. While Garces and Tinto fans wait for indoor dining, pair your Spanish wine selections with food from Tinto with a special preview food package available on the Garces Trading Company website for only $25 per person.

Wonderspaces Reopens at Fashion District with New Exhibits to Celebrate One Year Anniversary

Philadelphia's largest new cultural attraction is back! Wonderspaces Philadelphia is celebrating its reopening and one year anniversary with the debut of new installations that include Akousmaflore by Scenocosme, Thank You Bags by Reed van Brunschot, and a new VR film: Notes on Blindness: Into Darkness by Peter Middleton, James Spinney, Arnaud Colinart, and Amaury La Burthe. East Passyunk Opera Project (ePOP) teams up with Pistola’s del Sur, Sancho Pistola’s and Jose Pistola’s for Love Notes, a special three course dinner and virtual concert taking place over Valentine’s Day Weekend. The dinner and concert, presented by RE/MAX One Realty - The Capri Dessecker Team, will feature performances by Philadelphia-based opera singers Ashley Marie Robillard, soprano, and Joshua Blue, tenor. The real-life couple will perform safely from their home in South Philly. The duo will be accompanied by pianist Aurelien Eulert. In addition, several prominent opera singers will make guest appearances throughout the concert: Anthony Roth Costanzo, Sandra Piques Eddy, Joélle Harvey and her husband Alex Fletcher, Zachary James, and Will Liverman, all of whom have sung leading roles at The Metropolitan Opera and a host of other distinguished opera and concert venues throughout the world.

Bristol Riverside Theatre Presents Philadelphia Regional Premiere of Singles in Agriculture

Bristol Riverside Theatre kicks off the new year by introducing audiences to rising star Abby Rosebrock with the Philadelphia premiere of Singles in Agriculture. In the virtual show, a resilient young South Carolina army widow, who loves Modern Family and talks to her Pygmy goats, angles for romance with a religious dairy farmer from Oklahoma. BRT’s Co-Producing Director Amy Kaissar will direct the two-hander, starring Jennifer Byrne and Timothy C. Goodwin. Four performances between January 26-30, 2021 at 7:30pm (EST) will stream live, directly from the real-life couple’s apartment. Tickets for this virtual performance are $30 each until January 17, after January 17 tickets are $35. Tickets are now available online at brtstage.org or by calling the box office at 215-785-0100.
