Restaurant veteran Anthony DePaul announces the grand opening of DePaul's Table: Modern Italian Steakhouse this Thursday, May 6th at 7E. Lancaster Avenue. DePaul, formerly from The Chophouse, Marc Forgione’s American Cut Steakhouse and Borgata, will bring a pedigree of industry insight and knowledge to this exciting new concept. DePaul aims to bring back the long lost artform of the Maitre D’ with elevated customer service and extra attention to detail. While the pandemic may have changed the state of dining for months and maybe years to come, DePaul and team looks to bring back all the things we have missed this last year about an exceptional dining experience. In the kitchen, DePaul has tapped New Jersey-native Executive Chef Jose Galicia (The Chophouse).

Pearl Properties Announces Federal Donuts’ 10th Location Opening Summer Of 2021

Pearl Properties and Federal Donuts are excited to announce that a brand-new location for Federal Donuts is coming to The Terrace on 18th at 1776 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Philadelphia’s iconic donut and fried chicken specialists will open their tenth location at the most iconic Philadelphia address in the City of Philadelphia. The fast-casual donut shop will occupy 1,500+ square feet on the ground floor of The Terrace. The Terrace location will have the most seating of any Federal Donuts location, including an expansive raised outdoor patio. For interior vibes, look for unique design elements that complement the “round” walls of the famous circular building. On the menu, residents, neighbors, local workers and visiting foodies will find all of their Federal Donuts favorites, including Hot Fresh Donuts, Fancy Donuts, new Classic Donuts and twice-cooked Fried Chicken, plus an enhanced beverage program with espresso drinks, cold brew coffee on draft, and the Donut Latte.

Bridget Foy's Debuts With Grand Opening On South Street Following Devastating Fire

Bridget Foy and husband Paul Rodriguez, along with parents John and Bernadette Foy, announces the grand opening of the brand new Bridget Foy's at 200 South Street this Friday, February 12th at 4:00pm. Bridget Foy's is one of Philadelphia and South Streets most beloved restaurants that has served the community for decades since the 1970s. The entire restaurant was lost in 2017 during a devastating fire. After three years of demolition, construction, design, pandemic delays, two COVID shut-downs, a giant snow storm, a East Philly Café Pop-up and limited dining capacity, Bridget Foy's is finally ready to return and make its grand debut overlooking one of Philadelphia's most picturesque corners. The new dining room and bar features a show-stopping gold tin ceiling, striking wood and tiled floors, socially distanced seating, 16 oversized windows and doors opening to the sidewalk, advanced ventilation, artwork by Bernadette and Paul, and other touches of nostalgia and Americana with a light, modern and airy twist.

Garces Debuts Spanish Wine Shop with Opening of Tinto Pintxo in Rittenhouse

Garces announces the return of Tinto in Rittenhouse Square - but this time with a new wine bottle shop, a new menu and a new name. Tinto Pintxo is now open at 114 S. 20th Street, next to Village Whiskey. Bridget Foy Returns To South Street With East Philly Cafe Pop-up Outdoor Restaurant

Bridget Foy will return to 2nd and South (200 South) for the first time since the devastating fire in 2017 that saw the family restaurant and neighborhood corner hub close down and get destroyed. Bridget Foy's - the new Bridget Foy's - was expected to open as a surprise to Philly this week. However, with indoor dining closing and the pandemic numbers increasing this didn't make sense and as sad as it as after working round the clock this year on top to bottom construction (everything was lost in the fire) they now have pushed the opening to February/March and indoor dining returns - plus outdoor comes back in nicer weather. Today's opening comes despite the snow, as they are eager to get back to work at 2nd and South - and what not better way to celebrate a festive outdoor restaurant then with heaters, hot drinks, covered tables and flakes in the air - plus $5 snow day specials.

Craft Concepts Group Announces Grand Opening Of Sueño Restaurant And Tequila Bar

Craft Concepts Group and owner Teddy Sourias announce the grand opening of Sueño this Friday, October 9, 2020 at 4:00pm at 114 S. 12th Street. Sueño showcases Day of the Dead inspired decor, original art pieces from the region's top artists, traditional and fusion Mexican cuisine by Executive Chef Caroline Hough, Puerto Rican-style empanadas from Tata's Empanadas, margaritas and cocktails, and an extensive list of tequilas. This new pop-up restaurant will occupy the first two floors of the building that Sourias recently purchased before the global pandemic. The plan was to put in a full service, top to bottom renovated and stunning restaurant like he is famous for - until the shut down halted his grand plans for his newest restaurant and eatery. While a full styling and renovation is still on the books for after the pandemic, Sourias wanted to activate the space and bring it to life with his long-time goal of a Mexican restaurant and tequila bar.
