Ardmore Restaurant Week Returns to Lola's Garden, Sophie's BBQ, Autana, Iron Hill Brewery, More

Ardmore Restaurant Week, the popular two-week celebration of Ardmore’s exciting and diverse dining scene returns May 12 through May 22, 2022 with participants offering a prix fixe, 3-course dinner menu at either $20, $30 or $40. In-person dining for Ardmore Restaurant Week returns this year with Ardmore establishments offering a wide variety of cuisines with menus created by award-winning Ardmore chefs. Sophie’s BBQ will serve up their popular chicken and jalapeno cornbread waffles along with a classic BBQ platter with your choice of ribs, brisket, chicken, or pork. Newcomer to the Ardmore dining scene, Osushi, will delight diners with fresh sushi and rolls, and Autana, the award-winning, authentic Venezuelan restaurant, will serve bundles of house made arepas, mandocas, and traditional tequeños. Award-winning Autana debuts hot off a fresh Best of Philly win for Best Arepas. Lola's Garden presents some of the most expensive and beautiful outdoor dining on the Main Line with a covered shaded all-season patio. Each participating restaurant will offer specially priced menus or participate with a special dining program. Restaurants have the option to offer inside dining, outside dining, take-out and/or delivery. Tax and gratuity are not included. Menu items may change. The Story Brings Stunning New Coffee Shop and Bookstore to Downtown Ardmore

Continuing the explosion of new businesses opening in Ardmore, downtown now welcomes The Story – a coffee shop and bookstore located at 45 E. Lancaster Avenue. Most recently, the building was the 843 VFW outpost, where it served veterans in the Ardmore area for over 30 years. Owners have taken the former outpost and renovated it with thrifted, repurposed and donated decor that all hold hundreds of years of history - including the 1893 Schomacker & Co. piano, the circa 1923 bar chairs, the custom lion-head bar from a local mansion, the book wall with chapters unfolding above the plush vintage lounger - and the feature wall designed and hand-papered by Carissa Robinson from Creator Studio in Philly.

Up to Eleven Debuts New Coffee Shop and E-Bike Store Hybrid in Ardmore

Laura Fay, co-founder of Separatist Beer Project, announces the grand opening of a brand-new all-in-one coffee shop and e-bike store coming to the Main Line starting this weekend. Up to Eleven is a unique all-in-one hybrid that brings together the best of both worlds for coffee and cycling lovers. The new concept will showcase three big partners, including bagels from Kismet Bagels, coffee from Reanimator Coffee, and e-bikes by Specialized. Doors will open this Saturday, August 21st, from 7:00am to 3:00pm, at 65 Cricket Flats.

Main Line Today and Today Media announce the debut of Main Line Today Restaurant Week, presented by Firstrust Bank, running August 23 through September 5, 2021. The 14-day culinary celebration will bring together and showcase the talents of top chefs, restaurants and purveyors in Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties. Participating restaurants will offer special three-course prix fixe menus for lunch ($24.95, plus tax, beverage and gratuity) and dinner ($36.95, plus tax, beverage and gratuity). Restaurants can choose what works best for them, offering lunch, dinner or both—dine-in or takeout.

Restaurant veteran Anthony DePaul announces the grand opening of DePaul's Table: Modern Italian Steakhouse this Thursday, May 6th at 7E. Lancaster Avenue. DePaul, formerly from The Chophouse, Marc Forgione’s American Cut Steakhouse and Borgata, will bring a pedigree of industry insight and knowledge to this exciting new concept. DePaul aims to bring back the long lost artform of the Maitre D’ with elevated customer service and extra attention to detail. Blue Pearl Cafe By Juice Dr. Introduces New Vegan Cafe To Downtown Ardmore

Ardmore Initiative announces the debut of the Main Line's newest plant-based eatery and cafe. Blue Pearl Cafe presented by owner FJ Leto and his company Juice Dr. will grand open this Saturday, August 22nd at 9:00am at 44 Rittenhouse Place. Blue Pearl Cafe will features a menu of plant-based vegan offerings that include breakfast and lunch dishes, coffee, and tea, organic smoothies, cold pressed juices, wellness shots, organic noodles, gluten free grain bowls, salads and more. Signature dishes include Spaghetti and Beetballs, Pad Thai, Walnut Taco Salad, Acai Bowl, Dark Blue Overnight Oats and other tasty dishes. The former eye glass store is 750 square feet inside and features three tables inside with extensive coffee bar seating along the main wall. Most indoor dining, however, is on hold and the cafe has a limited number of people inside to ensure social distancing.

Ardmore's Cricket Cringle Brings Outdoor Pop-Up Holiday Market to the Main Line with Shopping, Music, Food, and Family Fun

Ardmore Initiative will kick-off the holidays with the return of the 5th Annual Cricket Cringle on Friday November 30 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and Saturday, December 1 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The Main Line's festive open-air holiday market is a two-day pop-up festival that takes over Cricket Avenue at Lancaster, and features over 40 artists, makers, businesses and restaurants, plus complimentary tote bags, live music, performances, cookie decorating, Santa's arrival, free hot cocoa, live greenery, decorations and tons of holiday cheer. This year, vendors will include a mix of Downtown businesses, local artists and makers, new and long-time restaurants, and popular food trucks. Bring Santa's shopping list for everything from jewelry, housewares, clothing, greens, wreaths, toys and gifts for all ages. Food trucks and food vendors will feature seasonal food and drink menus, including holiday cocktails and seasonal craft beer. Cricket Cringle is free and open to the public. Le Bec Fin Alum Brings A Taste Of Paris To Ardmore With New French Pastry And Chocolate Shop

Brothers Joseph and Antoine Amrani are sweetening up Downtown Ardmore with the opening of French pastry and chocolate shop Delice et Chocolat at 7 Station Road. Ardmore's newest eatery features pastries, danish, cakes and artisan chocolates made on location, along with an espresso bar, smoothies, sandwiches, salads and house-made quiche. Guests can purchase their treats to go, or they can sit and enjoy them inside the French Parisian Bistro-inspired cafe. Delice et Chocolat is open for business Tuesday-Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Sunday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. The space formerly housed Centofanti Master Tailors.
