Come Alive 215 And Meet Philadelphia Hosts Workout For Philly Gay Pride Month

Come Alive 215 and Meet Philadelphia have joined forces to present one of the most unique, fun and heart-pumping outdoor events for Philly Gay Pride Month. Come Alive 215 x Meet Philadelphia Pride Workout, Drag Show and Picnic Brunch brings together a morning of movement, celebration, charity and community on Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 9:15am to 1:30pm. Hot off of winning Best of Philly for 2020 Best Virtual Workout and exercise class, fitness gurus Kim Harari and Shannon Brennan will bring their electric, contagious and community-driven fitness experience to the Lawn at Park Towne Place (2200 Benjamin Franklin Parkway). The event will feature a 45 minute workout programmed for all fitness levels, followed by a drag show and a picnic brunch. Brunch bites will be provided by one of Philadelphia's most celebrated chefs, Michael Solomonov of Zahav, Federal Donuts, Dizengoff, Abe Fisher and Goldie.

Stina BYO Hosts Greek Barbecue And Two Year Anniversary Celebration

One of South Philadelphia's most celebrated BYO's is on the road to recovery and hosting a special celebration this coming weekend. Celebrated Chef Bobby Saritsoglou and Christina Kallas-Saritsoglou will host Stina's Two Year Anniversary Party on Saturday, June 5th, from 12:00pm to 10:00pm, with a special Greek-style barbecue, pop-up by Stickman Brews, and live traditional Rembetiko style Greek music. The daytime celebration runs from 12:00pm to 4:00pm with the Stickman Brews Pop-up, Greek BBQ and Lunch Specials. In the evening, Stina will host live music all evening while Chef cooks up his award-winning cuisine.

Philadelphia Zoo Debuts Friday Nights Dinos and Bites with Extended Hours

Philadelphia Zoo (3400 W. Girard Avenue) is set to take a dinosaur-sized bite out of summer with the launch of Friday Nights Dinos and Bites. Beginning every Friday, from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend, the Zoo will host a new evening adventure with extended hours, amazing animals, life-size animatronic dinosaurs and prehistoric-themed foods, that complement the new exhibit, Big Time: Life in an Endangerous Zone experience. Newly-renamed, Bedrock Brews beer garden and Dino Bites fooderie, fire up pre-historic burger and beer pairings and other tasty treats to chomp on, making Friday Nights Dinos and Bites the perfect spot for a night out with the family or a dino-mite date night for adults. Friday Nights Dinos and Bites runs on Friday nights through 8:00pm. General Zoo Admission is $24 for ages 12+ and $19 for ages 2-11, children under 2 are free, plus entrance for Big Time $6 (adults and children ages 2+)

Lost Bread Rittenhouse (2218 Walnut St.) announces the debut of Lost Bread pizza, new dinner service, expanded days of operation, more delicious baked goods, and local beer to go. Owner/Baker Alex Bois and FCM Hospitality Owner Avram Hornik opened the company's first brick and mortar location earlier this year with limited hours for breakfast and lunch. Yards Brewing Company and Lokal Artisan Foods have joined forces to collaborate on the release of the new French Toast Bites Ale - a smooth and malty collab inspired by the famous French Toast Bites sold at Cherry Street Pier, Spruce Street Harbor Park, Made in America, St. Joe's University, Better Box, Philadelphia Night Market and Bronx Night Market. The new beer captures the delicious flavors of sugar and spice and everything nice - with comforting notes of maple syrup, rich brown sugar, spicy cinnamon and delicate vanilla. The beer will be available in 16 ounce cans (four-pack), plus in kegs and sixtels. Yards will produce the beer year-round out of its brewery at 500 Spring Garden Street. Parks on Tap Debuts Two New Waterfront Locations on Schuylkill River This Weekend

Parks on Tap announces that Philadelphia’s famous beer garden that gives back is making moves, announcing two new season-long locations for 2021. The official season opening for both outside the famous Fairmount Water Works (640 Waterworks Drive) and at the all-new South-to-Christian Trails End (entry ramp at South Street and South 27th Street) is set for Thursday, May 6th at 4:00pm.
