Philly Pride 365: A Program of Galaei presents the second annual Philadelphia OURfest National Coming Out Parade and Festival/Resource Fair, the first National Coming Out Parade in the United States. OURfest stands for Our Uniting Resilience and these new events are being created to amplify the resilience of our people, our individual journeys in coming out, and how we hold and take up space everyday. OURfest: National Coming Out Parade will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, from 5th and Market to Broad and Locust. OURfest: National Coming Out Festival will take place on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 12:00pm to 7:00pm, with resource fair and family zone from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, and last call for mobile bars/food trucks at 6:30pm.

Philly Pride March and Festival to Feature America's Largest Rainbow Flag, Drag Race Headliner

Philly Pride 365: A Program of Galaei invites the entire LGBTQ+ to celebrate Pride 2024: Be You at the Philadelphia Pride March and Festival on Sunday, June 2, 2024.  This year's theme is inspired by the 55th anniversary of Stonewall. After 55 years of struggle, striving, progress, and overcoming, Philly Pride 365 a program of Galaei encourages the LGBTQ+ community to come out, celebrate, and “BE YOU” on June 2nd 2024, and throughout the year!  The Pride March will form and organize at 6th and Walnut at 10:30am and end in the Philadelphia Gayborhood. Watch for the largest rainbow pride flag in America, this year expanded to 400 feet long. All LGBTQ communities and allies are welcome to join the march, with no registration required. Floats and vehicles are not permitted. When the march reaches the Gayborhood, the festival will begin, running from 12:00pm to 7:00pm, on Walnut to Pine streets, and Quince to Juniper streets, with other select roads closed around the festival footprint. The festival will feature over 200 small businesses and organizations, performers, entertainers, artists, vendors, local bars, food trucks, community organizations, stages and much more. The march and festival is open to all to attend with no admission - and all food and drink are pay-as-you-go. Philadelphia Pride March and Festival are a proud part of Philly Gay Pride Month.

Philadelphia proudly celebrates June as Philly Gay Pride Month. We’ve compiled a list of 45 top ways to celebrate Gay Pride in our amazing city. While the pandemic pressed pause on events last year, Philly Gay Pride has never been stronger and more important. The pandemic has had a profoundly negative impact on our city’s LGBTQ community. Gay owned businesses were forced to shut down. Gay organizations and non-profits lost critical revenue for life-saving programs. The pandemic forced gay teens and college students into quarantine and isolation - losing the safety net of our city’s diverse and supportive larger community. Older gay seniors who sometimes already experience higher rates of social isolation were further isolated during months of prescribed social distancing and staying at home. The list continues as to how the pandemic specifically affected our gay and queer community - and it’s time to look ahead, come together and support one another. Stina BYO Chef Bobby Saritsoglou joins forces with Chef Ari Miller of Musi on Tuesday, June 29th for a four-course collaboration dinner to raise money for The Attic Youth Center - as part of Philly Gay Pride Month and Stina’s Two Year Anniversary. The special menu for one night only includes options, such as Marinated Feta & Charred Lettuces, Fish Kebab Roasted in Fig Leaf. Malted Grain, Red Tahina. Dry-Aged Duck, Mint & Cherry Zhoug and Black Lime Malabi Charred Fruit & Olive Oil. Stickman Brews will also host a pop-up during the event with four beer pairings for each course, for only $10 for 8 ounce pours, or $5 for full-sized a la carte 16 ounce pours. Twenty percent of the evening's sales will go to Stina's June beneficiary, The Attic Youth Center to support programs for Philadelphia’s LGBTQ youth.

Philly AIDS Thrift Hosts Drive-in Movie and Announces Major Expansion

Philly AIDS Thrift invites you to grab your cha-cha heels, clutch your pearls and head to the Philadelphia Navy Yard for a special movie fundraiser at sundown! Philly AIDS Thrift, in collaboration with Philadelphia Film Society, presents a special Philly Gay Pride Month drive-in movie with Female Trouble on Wednesday, June 2nd. The 1974 cult classic by John Waters stars the one and only Divine - and the drive-in event will feature Divine-esque drag queens greeting and thanking all the movie-goers. Proceeds from the event will help raise money for a major building expansion that will include a brand-new donation intake center that means more donations can safely be taken in, producing more sales and even more grants to local nonprofits helping people with HIV/AIDS. Tickets for the drive-in movie are $35 per car, and include access to the movie, food trucks and a chance to win fun door prizes. The drive-in movie lot opens at 8:00pm, with the movie starting at 9:00pm. Female Trouble runs for 89 minutes.
