Philadelphia and Main Line restaurants will close out 2020 with special dinners, feasts, kid-friendly day-time events, brunches and more. Highlights include Garces Trading Company offering food from Amada, The Olde Bar, Village Whiskey, and J.G. Domestic. Glu Hospitality will be having the Kids Countdown to New Year's with Cinderella at the Igloos, and other offerings at Germantown Garden Grill and Germantown Garden. New Years Eve Dining will also take place at Positano Coast, Harper’s Garden, and Delice et Chocolat. Also, we have many, if not most clients, open for New Year's Day brunch regular menu for January 1st including The Victoria Freehouse.

Christmas Village in Philadelphia's last call at Love Park for the 2020 season is on Christmas Eve at 5:00pm. However, the authentic open-air German-style Christmas market has one final gift to give Philadelphia before closing up shop for the holidays. For the beer lover, the last minute shopper, or those wanting to soak up those famous vibes after tomorrow, Christmas Village debuts a brand-new exclusive Christmas Village Kölsch, brewed and canned by local independent brewery Bar Hygge/ Brewery Techne. The new beer is available in cans to go with a specially created label that incorporates the iconic scenery of Christmas Village at Love Park including The Alm and the Grill Hut. The cans are sold in four packs of one pint cans for $18.00. This is the first-ever Christmas Village inspired beer, and the only exclusive can available since Christmas Village and Bar Hygge/ Brewery Techne starting partnering together back in 2018.

Bridget Foy Returns To South Street With East Philly Cafe Pop-up Outdoor Restaurant

Bridget Foy will return to 2nd and South (200 South) for the first time since the devastating fire in 2017 that saw the family restaurant and neighborhood corner hub close down and get destroyed. Bridget Foy's - the new Bridget Foy's - was expected to open as a surprise to Philly this week. However, with indoor dining closing and the pandemic numbers increasing this didn't make sense and as sad as it as after working round the clock this year on top to bottom construction (everything was lost in the fire) they now have pushed the opening to February/March and indoor dining returns - plus outdoor comes back in nicer weather. Today's opening comes despite the snow, as they are eager to get back to work at 2nd and South - and what not better way to celebrate a festive outdoor restaurant then with heaters, hot drinks, covered tables and flakes in the air - plus $5 snow day specials.

Restaurateurs Chris Fetfatzes and Heather Annechiarico announce the grand opening of Pivot Coffee and Soupery at 738 S. 11th Street, this Thursday, December 17, 2020, at 7:00am sharp. The husband-wife duo behind popular concepts Hawthornes, Wine Dive, Tio Flores, Quick Sip, The Cambridge and soon-to-open Grace and Proper, present their first-ever full service coffee and espresso shop, soupery, bake shop and wine shop - all rolled into one. With indoor dining closed at the moment, and it being months before Hawthornes would see indoor dining back to full 100% capacity, the couple looked ahead and wanted to Pivot with their new coffee shop - which comes complete with a new pastry chef, an expanded streetery, Igloo bubble outdoor dining, and a full special menu for Christmas and the holidays.

Garces Trading Company will officially make a grand return and debut this week as a brand-new, advanced ghost kitchen, restaurant hub and online marketplace. Fans of Chef Jose Garces will be able to order, for the first time ever, their favorite dishes from iconic restaurant brands such as Amada, The Olde Bar and Village Whiskey - all in one order and from one location for pick-up, take-out and delivery. When indoor dining shut down city restaurants this past week, Garces has consolidated all restaurant kitchens into one giant ghost kitchen and hub that will now operate out of The Olde Bar in Old City District. Northern Liberties Business Improvement District kicks off the holiday season with the debut of Northern Liberties Holiday Pop-up, starting on Black Friday for two weekends, November 27th-29th and December 3rd-6th, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. This brand-new socially-distanced holiday shopping event will feature 15+ small local businesses and makers from around the Philadelphia region popping up with gifts, decor, fashions, treats and more in eight retail locations along N. 2nd Street.
