Bridget Foy's Debuts With Grand Opening On South Street Following Devastating Fire

Bridget Foy and husband Paul Rodriguez, along with parents John and Bernadette Foy, announces the grand opening of the brand new Bridget Foy's at 200 South Street this Friday, February 12th at 4:00pm. Bridget Foy's is one of Philadelphia and South Streets most beloved restaurants that has served the community for decades since the 1970s. The entire restaurant was lost in 2017 during a devastating fire. After three years of demolition, construction, design, pandemic delays, two COVID shut-downs, a giant snow storm, a East Philly Café Pop-up and limited dining capacity, Bridget Foy's is finally ready to return and make its grand debut overlooking one of Philadelphia's most picturesque corners. The new dining room and bar features a show-stopping gold tin ceiling, striking wood and tiled floors, socially distanced seating, 16 oversized windows and doors opening to the sidewalk, advanced ventilation, artwork by Bernadette and Paul, and other touches of nostalgia and Americana with a light, modern and airy twist.

Garces Debuts Spanish Wine Shop with Opening of Tinto Pintxo in Rittenhouse

Garces announces the return of Tinto in Rittenhouse Square - but this time with a new wine bottle shop, a new menu and a new name. Tinto Pintxo is now open at 114 S. 20th Street, next to Village Whiskey. This new Spanish wine shop currently features 70+ wine selections by the bottle to go, tasting flights, rare/collectible gems, discounted bundles and even a new wine club. When indoor dining returns at 50% capacity, the kitchen will open and bring with it an exciting new menu focusing on pintxos, which are bites from northern Spain notably the Basque region. Tinto's wine shop will remain open as well when indoor dining begins. East Passyunk Opera Project (ePOP) teams up with Pistola’s del Sur, Sancho Pistola’s and Jose Pistola’s for Love Notes, a special three course dinner and virtual concert taking place over Valentine’s Day Weekend. The dinner and concert, presented by RE/MAX One Realty - The Capri Dessecker Team, will feature performances by Philadelphia-based opera singers Ashley Marie Robillard, soprano, and Joshua Blue, tenor. The real-life couple will perform safely from their home in South Philly. The duo will be accompanied by pianist Aurelien Eulert. Philly's Largest Restaurant Craft Hall Re-Opens and Pivots with New BBQ Focus and 35,000 SF Space

Fire up the smoker! FCM Hospitality and owner Avram Hornik announce the reopening of Philadelphia's largest restaurant starting this weekend. Craft Hall is officially back on the Waterfront at 901 N. Delaware Avenue starting Thursday, January 14th with outdoor dining, take-out and delivery, and starting Saturday, January 16th with expansive indoor dining. As restaurants adapt their operations to survive the pandemic, look for Craft Hall to pivot and turn the menu focus to BBQ, smoked meats and hearty pizzas. Executive Chef Adam Iazarick and his team will put the 700 lb. smoker to full use in creating a menu that is delicious and hearty as the perfect mid-winter pandemic comfort food.

For the beer lover, the last minute shopper, or those wanting to soak up those famous vibes after tomorrow, Christmas Village debuts a brand-new exclusive Christmas Village Kölsch, brewed and canned by local independent brewery Bar Hygge/ Brewery Techne. The new beer is available in cans to go with a specially created label that incorporates the iconic scenery of Christmas Village at Love Park including The Alm and the Grill Hut. The cans are sold in four packs of one pint cans for $18.00. This is the first-ever Christmas Village inspired beer, and the only exclusive can available since Christmas Village and Bar Hygge/ Brewery Techne starting partnering together back in 2018.
