Philadelphia Restaurants Open for Christmas Eve and Day with Feast of the Seven Fishes and Special Dinners

Philadelphia restaurants are counting down to Christmas with the release of their Feast of the Seven Fish, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day menus. For Feast of the 7 Fishes, we have the most clients ever celebrating this annual long-time tradition, several are new spots that just opened like The Fin, Figo and Yanaga, and several are putting a unique twist on the tradition with pizza, sushi and seafood boils. You can also find Christmas Eve and Day offerings such as Bridget Foy's, Dine-in on Christmas Day and Garces Trading Company with Christmas Dinner to Go/ Heat and Serve. Chef Jose Garces Introduces Phila Lorn at Next Chef in Residency at Volver at Kimmel Center

Chef Jose Garces announces Chef Phila Lorn as the next Chef in Residency at Volvér on Kimmel Cultural Campus just in time for the holiday season. Chef Lorn's residency will run from December 1, 2021 to January 17, 2022. Funding will help support Chef's first restaurant that will soon showcase Cambodian food, music and culture. Currently, Chef Lorn is working at Terrain Glen Mills and he recently was a special guest chef at Stina in South Philly. Lorn's menu will include nearly ten items, and include Crispy Soft Shell Shrimp, Pleah, Crab Summer Rolls, Banh Chow Crepe Salad, Steak and Chimichurri, Roasted Hamachi Collar, Mawn 'Pho Don', and more. For the new Chefs in Residency Program, each Chef will showcase their top signature dishes on the Volvér menu for six to eight weeks, alongside Chef Garces' signature French-inspired dishes. Through a special donation program in partnership with the Garces Foundation, each Chef in Residency will have the opportunity to raise money to support their work with their current restaurant, or to use for the start of their next culinary journey.

Philadelphia Restaurant Guide To Thanksgiving Dinner

Leave the cooking to Aversa PR's client restaurants for this Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving dinner is less than a month away, and our clients are cooking up a feast to keep you out of the kitchen and giving you more time to spend with family. This is one of the single largest days and weeks for some of our clients - and holiday meals and meal kits have been a huge saviour during these pandemic times for some of the restaurants. Garces Announces Return of Volver with New Chefs in Residency Program

Garces announces the much-anticipated reopening of Volvér on Kimmel Cultural Campus just in time for the return of in-person performing arts. For Volvér's return, Chef Jose Garces' will debut a brand new Chefs in Residency Program that will spotlight the region's top rising stars and emerging chefs, with a focus on minority chefs that were affected by the pandemic. The inaugural Chefs in Residency invited for the 2021-2022 season will include Chef Kiki Aranita from Poi Dog Philly, Chef Phila Lorn from Terrain Glen Mills, Chef Jezabel Careaga from Jezabel's, Chef Jennifer Zavala of Juana Tamale, Chef Alex Yoon of Little Fish and Chef Dane DeMarco of Sonny's Cocktail Bar and Wine Dive.

Garces Trading Company Debuts Month-long Paella Madness Celebration With Chef Jose Garces

Garces Trading Company is putting a Spanish foodie twist on March Madness with a new month-long celebration called Paella Madness. Chef Jose Garces has created four crazy and modern twists on the very traditional Spanish dish. Each week look for a new paella to debut, including braised short rib paella, whole roasted trout paella with squid ink bomba rice, acorn squash paella, and whole roasted chicken with fig and pine nut paella. Each featured paella comes complete with a choice of Ensalada Verde or Semplice Salad, plus family-style portions of Beef Sliders, Chicken Brochettes and Octopus & Fingerling Potato Brochettes. Garces fans can host a Paella Party at their homes with either the heat and serve option or the ready-to-eat option. Pick-up and delivery are available out of the Garces Trading Company ghost kitchen and virtual marketplace, operating from The Olde Bar in Old City at 125 Walnut Street.
