Craft Hall and Mainstay Independent Brewing Announce Ten Day Oktoberfest Celebration

Celebrate Oktoberfest at Craft Hall, Philadelphia's largest indoor restaurant! Come out this fall for a special 10 day celebration that will include traditional biergarten decor, Oktoberfest themed menu additions, special fall BBQ specials, beer from Mainstay Independent Brewing, beer steins, and pumpkin decorating ($5 small, $10 large). Mainstay will have plenty of freshly canned Oktoberfest ready for the celebration, prost! Steins are $15.00 with refills only $7.50 during this special event. Additionally, the indoor playground is now reopened for fun for the kiddos. Garces Trading Company Debuts Month-long Paella Madness Celebration With Chef Jose Garces

Garces Trading Company is putting a Spanish foodie twist on March Madness with a new month-long celebration called Paella Madness. Chef Jose Garces has created four crazy and modern twists on the very traditional Spanish dish. Each week look for a new paella to debut, including braised short rib paella, whole roasted trout paella with squid ink bomba rice, acorn squash paella, and whole roasted chicken with fig and pine nut paella. Each featured paella comes complete with a choice of Ensalada Verde or Semplice Salad, plus family-style portions of Beef Sliders, Chicken Brochettes and Octopus & Fingerling Potato Brochettes. Garces fans can host a Paella Party at their homes with either the heat and serve option or the ready-to-eat option. Pick-up and delivery are available out of the Garces Trading Company ghost kitchen and virtual marketplace, operating from The Olde Bar in Old City at 125 Walnut Street.

Philadelphia Zoo Announces Return Of Annual Halloween Celebration Boo At The Zoo

Philadelphia Zoo (3400 West Girard Avenue) announces the return of Boo at the Zoo Presented by Chase. This top annual Halloween extravaganza will return to America's first Zoo for three enchanting weekends, on October 16 to 18, October 23 to 25, and October 30 to November 1, 2020, from 10:00am to 4:00pm each day. Get ready for some tricks and some treats - and tons of fall fun - during everyone's favorite October tradition. Kids of all ages are invited to come out with their families in their favorite costumes and set out on a not-so-spooky safari. Ticket times and reservations will go on sale on October 1st at PhiladelphiaZoo.org. Admission for Boo at the Zoo is free with the regular price of admission.
