Northern Liberties Restaurant Week Debuts April 9-18 with $10-25 Lunch and Dinner Menus

Northern Liberties Business Improvement District, one of the hottest and most notable food neighborhoods in Philadelphia, launches its first-ever Northern Liberties Restaurant Week from Friday, April 9 to Sunday, April 18, 2021. Timed perfectly for the start of nice weather and expanded outdoor dining options, over 20 of the neighborhood's biggest names will offer two course (plus non-alcoholic beverage) lunches for $10 or $15, and three course dinners for $15, 20 and $25. Look for socially distanced seating inside some of the most beautiful, artful and colorful dining rooms in Philadelphia, plus seating at expansive, flowering and ornate streeteries and sidewalk cafes.

Highlights include Garces Trading Company offering food from Amada, The Olde Bar, Village Whiskey, and J.G. Domestic. Northern Liberties Business Improvement District kicks off the holiday season with the debut of Northern Liberties Holiday Pop-up, starting on Black Friday for two weekends, November 27th-29th and December 3rd-6th, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. This brand-new socially-distanced holiday shopping event will feature 15+ small local businesses and makers from around the Philadelphia region popping up with gifts, decor, fashions, treats and more in eight retail locations along N. 2nd Street. From French Toast Bites, to Christmas trees and ornaments, bridal wear to baguettes, there will be something for everyone on Santa’s holiday shopping list. For extra pop-up magic, A Dash of Magic Events will pop-up both Saturdays for Enchanted in Northern Liberties: Snow Queen Brunch at the Igloos at Germantown Garden Grill with music, song, food, drink and holiday magic for kids of all ages.

Philadelphia Zoo Lights Up Main Plaza With Blue Lights To Thank Healthcare Heroes

Philadelphia Zoo has lit up three of the enormous 80-foot-tall trees at the Main Plaza with dazzling blue lights to thank the frontline. The new light display on the trees and front entrance buildings at 34th and Girard are illuminated with the goal of ringing in the holidays while also thanking healthcare workers and first responders during the global pandemic. By lighting up the front plaza in blue, the Zoo is extending its wishes for a peaceful holiday and its appreciation for the thousands of citizens throughout the greater Philadelphia region for their kindness, dedication, and courage during an exceptionally challenging year.

Ardmore Celebrates The Holidays With Rally For Restaurants, Tree Lighting, And Santa Claus

Celebrate holidays on the Main Line with a month of festive offerings in Downtown Ardmore starting on Black Friday and running through December 23rd. The downtown business community kicks off the holidays with the Ardmore Holiday Kick-Off and Tree Lighting on Black Friday, November 27th, at 5:00pm. Ardmore Initiative, Ardmore Business Association and sponsor PECO will live stream Santa's arrival and the lighting of the Christmas Tree with special guest Cinderella by A Dash of Magic. The thirty minute program will feature a surprise entrance for Jolly Ole St. Nick himself, songs by everyone's favorite princess Cinderella presented by A Dash of Magic Events, and remarks by local dignitaries. The Holiday Rally for Ardmore Restaurants and Retail will then start on Small Business Saturday, November 28th and run through December 23rd.
