Fuel Center City To Debut Brand New Dining Room, Gives Away Free Smoothies!

Fresh new changes are coming to Fuel Center City at 1225 Walnut Street. Owner Rocco Cima announces that the Midtown Village location of his 500 calorie (or less) cafe will be renovated from top to bottom with new furniture and lighting, the addition of a community table, opened up dining spaces, new artwork and design elements, and an overall colorful new look. Construction and interior work has been under way since earlier last month. Fuel Center City is currently open during the renovations. The new dining room will debut during a relaunch weekend scheduled for April 14, 15 and 16, 2017 - with a different giveaway each day that weekend.

33rd Street Hospitality Announces The Debut Of The Revolution Taco Food Truck - Ready To Roll For Spring Event Season

33rd Street Hospitality Catering is taking the tacos on the road! Chefs Michael Sultan and Carolyn Nguyen announce the debut of the Revolution Taco Food Truck - inspired by their brick and mortar at 2015 Walnut Street. The food truck will feature many customer favorites from the menu at the Rittenhouse Square eatery, along with several food truck exclusives. The truck will also serve as a testing ground for new dishes to be added to the restaurant’s menu. Philadelphia’s newest food truck will make its official debut at three of the spring’s biggest neighborhood food festivals, including StrEAT Food Festival in Manayunk (April 9), Cinco De Mayo at the Piazza at Schmidt's Commons (May 5) and South Street Spring Festival (May 6).

Five food trucks and five local brewers will pop-up outside of Taproom for an afternoon of brews, bites and live tunes.The taps will be flowing with all craft drafts specially priced at $5.00. Cinder Taps New Executive Chef, Debuts Happy Hour And New Food Menu

Teddy Sourias of Craft Concepts Group (BRU Craft & Wurst, U-Bahn, Uptown Beer Garden, Finn McCool's Ale House) announces a new chef, new menu and the debut of happy hour at Cinder at 1500 Locust Street. The Rittenhouse neighborhood cider/sour bar and artisan pizza kitchen welcomes Oliver Muguia as the new Executive Chef. Munguia debuts his first menu since taking over the kitchen, with over a dozen new dishes including pale ale mussels, arrabbiata wood-fired pizza, duck spring rolls, mojo shrimp and octopus, cherry and chevre salad and mushroom empanaditas. Six of the new dishes will be featured on Cinder's first-ever happy hour that runs Monday through Friday, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Happy hour specials include $5.00 appetizers, $8.00 mussels, $3.00 off all drafts, $3.00 off all wines by the glass, plus a featured wood-fired pie of the day. New Spring Break Camp Lets Children Run Off And Join The Circus

Philadelphia School of Circus Arts announces a brand new, full-day Spring Break Circus Camp for students looking to run off to the big top. Children (ages seven to fourteen) are invited to walk the wire, take to the air and juggle their creativity from 9:00am to 3:00pm, between April 10-14, 2017, at PSCA's studio (5900A Greene Street). Inis Nua Theatre Company ends the 2016-2017 mainstage season with the American premiere of Swallow by Stef Smith. From Scotland, Swallow follows three lives intricately connected and the quiet, traumatic struggles of being human. Swallow was a 2015 Fringe First Winner and received the Scottish Arts Club Theatre Award. The Scotsman called the play, “An elegant and glowing piece of twenty-first century magic realism.” Swallow opens at the Proscenium Theater at The Drake (302 South Hicks Street) on April 28th, with preview performances on April 26th and 27th.
