The former owners of Bump, Pandora's Kitchen and Monkey Bar present a first-of-its-kind stylish, lush, intricate and colorful new restaurant, bar and live entertainment venue that is ready to dazzle with a tantalizing blend of Latin-inspired cuisine, unique hand-crafted cocktails, and live upbeat music. Restaurant veterans Fergie Carey and Shane Dodd, along with bartender and DJ Dave Dollinger, are proud to announce their newest concept, The Fairview, now open in the Fairmount neighborhood. Owners Chris Fetfatzes & Heather Annechiarico announce the grand opening of Wine Dive this Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11:00am at 1506 South Street, Philadelphia, PA. Wine Dive extends the husband and wife duo's footprint on South Street, where they own the newly renovated Cambridge next door and Tio Flores a block away. Restaurateur Shafi Gaffar announces the grand opening of Kurry Shack at 2015 E. Moyamensing Avenue on November 1, 2019. Kurry Shack is a Halal fast casual BYO that serves homestyle traditional Northern Indian cuisine led by Chef Abdur Masud. In the dining room, look for bright, colorful and hip art and designs that spotlight the Taj Mahal. Two and four top tables seat up to 18 people, or the space can be cleared for a standing-room only neighborhood event for up to 30-40 people. Look for over 200 muscle, classic, antique, custom and show cars, trucks and motorcycles will line the Avenue, with street vendors, rack sales, kids’ activities, live music and the Bang! Boom! CRAFT! Show in between.

Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square, part of AccorHotels, will celebrate June as Gay Pride Month with a series of new events and initiatives, including turning the hotel lobby into the Pride Month “LGBTQ Hall of Flags.” For the first time ever, Sofitel will fly a giant Philadelphia Pride Flag on the outside of the hotel. Inside, look for the flag to be joined by six individual LGBTQ flags flying high above the lobby to celebrate the diversity of the hotel’s community.
