BRU Craft & Wurst Taps 11 Dark Beers from 11 Breweries During All-Day Black Friday Happy Hour Fade to Black III

In the beer world, Fridays were meant for drinking not shopping. This Black Friday, November 27, 2015, BRU Craft & Wurst and Captain Dan Conway from Captain Lawrence Brewing Company will tap a specially curated list of dark beers from eleven breweries starting at 11:00am. All special beers will be discounted to happy hour pricing of $4-5 until 7:00pm (or they run out). Chef also converted to the dark side with special $5.00 and $10.00 menu to pair with the brews.

Palladino's on Passyunk Introduces Saturday Brunch, Bloody Mary Trio and New Fall Dishes

Chef Luke Palladino announces new changes to his weekend brunch at Palladino’s on Passyunk - including Saturday brunch service, five new brunch drinks for $5 and several new brunch dishes. Saturdays and Sundays were meant for sipping on new cocktails that include a new Bloody Mary trio created with fresh seasonal produce (parsnip, pickled tomatillo and long hots) and house-made ingredients. Enjoy a new brunch twist on the “Citywide” with the Caffe Corretto (shot of La Colombe espresso spiked with choice of Sambuca, Strega or Galliano liqueur). Sweet and savory dishes - like Orange-Scented Ricotta Pancakes with Vermont Maple Syrup and Smoked Salmon Bruschetta topped with Poached Eggs – are additions to the menu. Proven-popular brunch dishes remain including Focaccia created with Chef Luke’s innovative toppings. A new fall version features a spicy baked-on sopressata, and each weekend will bring an additional special Focaccia ‘of the week’ made with the freshest, seasonal ingredients. 75+ Philadelphia Restaurants Help Local Charities During City-Wide Food Fest Restaurant Crawl

Over 75 restaurants in 24 of Philadelphia’s top neighborhoods will offer discounted small bites and make a donation to three local charities during their greatest time of need. Philly2Night.com and UpcomingEvents.com, with support from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, present Food Fest 2015, a city-wide Philadelphia restaurant crawl & food drive on Saturday, November 21, 2015, from Noon to 8:00pm. Ticket holders are invited to visit new restaurants around town, or stop by long-time favorites, while savoring discounted small-bite foods and enjoying drink specials. Tickets are free but participants can make an extra difference by purchasing a special $10 donation option. All guests are strongly encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation to drop at 25 drop-off sites. Theatre Exile Presents World Premiere of RIZZO by Bruce Graham from October 15 to November 8, 2015
