Enjoy $3 seasonal craft beers, $4 merry cocktails and $5 discounted snacks (select locations) at 14 award-winning bars and restaurants along East Passyunk Avenue.  Five dollar admission also includes a Santa or Elf hat, and a Santa’s Sipping Stamp Card.  Collect five or more stamps to be entered to win a gift certificate prize package worth $350.00. East Passyunk's Nice Things Handmade and The Philly Free School announce the first annual “Superfantastic Craft Bazaar” on Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 11:00am to 5:00pm, at 2001 Christian Street, Philadelphia. Over 35 local artisans and crafters will transform the school’s roller-skating rink into a holiday wonderland filled with one-of-a-kind gifts, sculpted jewelry, home décor, handmade paper, art prints, hand painted glassware, aeriums, apparel, stuffed toys and much more.  Family fun will include face painting, caricatures, make-and-take ornaments, paint-your-own ceramics and free candy canes.  Ultimo Coffee, Weckerly’s Ice Cream, Philly Free School and other vendors will provide hot beverages, seasonal treats and lunchtime snacks. Inexpensive dishes will include award-winning burgers, traditional fish and chips, smothered steak sandwich, perogies, salads, soups and more.  Popular local bartender Danny McCloskey has been brought on board to serve up great conversation and a world-class assortment of bottled beer, draft beers and wines, and a splendid selection of Single Malt Scotches, Whiskies and Bourbon.  Rumor has it that lunch regulars may be privy to “secret” handcrafted cocktails only available during lunch service.  As always, beloved mascot John Deer will preside in seasonal garb. East Passyunk Avenue presents spooktacular fun with Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday on Saturday, October 26, 2013, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. This annual Halloween celebration will feature free activities for children, adults and even fido too!  Spooky Saturday activities include cider and donuts, pumpkin painting, costume contests for children and dogs, pet treats, art lessons and a kids’ dance party. Trick or treating will expand this year to include the blocks between the Singing Fountain and the Mifflin Triangle. East Passyunk's LGBT Monthly Party QOTA Pops Up at Singing Fountain

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) brings the popular monthly LGBT QOTA party to the Singing Fountain on Sunday, September 29, 2013, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.  For September, the party moves outdoors for its first-ever pop-up event in Philadelphia’s new gayborhood.  Chefs from restaurants around the Fountain will serve complimentary or discounted food and drink. Participating fooderies include locally and nationally recognized names such as Noord, Fond, Stateside, Belle Cakery, Izumi, Da Vinci Ristorante and Chiarella’s Ristorante. Metro Men’s will showcase their brand new store at East Passyunk and Tasker with complimentary beverages.  Metro Men’s and Nicole Rae Styer will host a fashion show around the Singing Fountain at 4:00 PM. Streets immediately surrounding the Fountain will be closed for the outdoor party, including Passyunk at 11th and Tasker. The party is free and open to the community, ages 21 and older. All specials are first come, first served.  Ten percent  of proceeds from Fond and Stateside will be donated to ActionAIDS.  In case of inclement weather, the party moves indoors to individual restaurants, bars and retail shops.
