Philadelphia Zoo to Host Inaugural Zoo-a-Thon in Partnership with 6ABC

Philadelphia Zoo, in partnership with 6ABC, will host its first-ever Zoo-a-Thon fundraiser, a multi-platform event scheduled on Thursday, November 19th. The fundraising begins at 6am on 6abc’s morning newscast and continues throughout the day with Facebook Live segments onsite at the Zoo at 10:00am, noon and 3:00pm. Viewers can log onto 6abc’s and the Zoo’s Facebook pages to watch incredible animals and awesome special guests.

Festivities will kick-off on Small Business Saturday with the debut of a brand-new holiday tradition, Old City's Window Decorating Contest at 16+ small businesses located around the historic streets of Old City. Made In Philadelphia Holiday Market Returns To Dilworth Park With New Safety Protocols

The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market will once again return to Dilworth Park from Saturday, November 21, 2020 to January 1, 2021 with all new safety precautions. Dozens of artisans, designers and small businesses from the greater Philadelphia region will offer decorations, fashions and gifts inside white, festively lit tents. Visitors will be required to social distance and wear masks while shopping for their loved ones. Vendors will be spaced out in a new layout - that will be located adjacent to the City Hall Courtyard, where the dazzling holiday Christmas Village Philadelphia Carousel will be located. The Market and Carousel will be joined by Christmas Village vendors in the Courtyard and North Apron. The open-air pop-up market is curated by organizers of Christmas Village in Philadelphia, which will also be set up across the street in LOVE Park for its 13th season.

Morgan's Pier Fall Fest returns for the sixth season from September 23 to November 1, 2020. Head to the expansive dining destination as it converts into an autumn wonderland - with six more weeks of stunning views, entertainment, fall food and cocktails, seasonal beers and much more. New for 2020, Morgan's Pier Fall Fest for the first time ever in its history will operate fully at seven days a week. Hours once Fall Fest begins (and new times start in Philadelphia/Pennsylvania) will be from Monday to Sunday, from 12pm Noon to last seating at 9:30pm. Hours are subject to change based on local and state guidelines.

This top annual Halloween extravaganza will return to America's first Zoo for three enchanting weekends, on October 16 to 18, October 23 to 25, and October 30 to November 1, 2020, from 10:00am to 4:00pm each day. Get ready for some tricks and some treats - and tons of fall fun - during everyone's favorite October tradition. Northern Liberties Business Improvement District announces the debut of Easy StrEats on Saturday, July 11, 2020. Between Noon and 8:00pm, North Second Street will be closed to vehicular traffic for one half mile, from Germantown to Spring Garden. Easy StrEats is modeled after the City’s Open Streets program and is not a street festival, but instead is an opportunity for people to spread out and explore Northern Liberties’ restaurants while safely distancing. For restaurants, this is an important day where they can safely expand their seating capacity and aid in recovery efforts from shut-downs earlier this year.
