Pennsylvania's Largest Food Truck Festival Rolls into Manayunk with Largest Line-up Ever

One of the largest and most celebrated food truck festivals in America is back - and it's even bigger and tastier than ever! StrEAT Food Festival returns to Manayunk on Sunday, April 21st, from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Over 70 of the region's top food trucks and food vendors will line historic Main Street for the day, with menus that include everything from savory BBQ to sweet desserts - and everything in between. Festivities will also include shopping vendors, local artists and makers, Manayunk merchants, live music and other fun surprises. Main Street Manayunk will be closed to vehicle traffic to allow all visitors a chance to explore the historic neighborhood that is now celebrating its 200th anniversary.

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) presents the 12th Annual East Passyunk Restaurant Week starting Monday February 26th through Friday March 8th. Nearly two dozen award-winning restaurants along Philadelphia's most famous restaurant row will fire up specially priced three course prix fixe lunch and/or dinner menus for $20, $30, $40 and/or $55. Dishes will range from signature long-time favorites to exclusive new dishes making their restaurant week debut. Settings range from indoor to outdoor, fine dining to casual, intimate to energetic, BYO to cocktail bar, and everything in between.

Philadelphia Zoo Announces Birth of Two Sloth Bear Cubs

Philadelphia Zoo is thrilled to announce the birth of two threatened sloth bear cubs. The cubs were born January 2, 2023, at 3:53am and 4:16am to 10-year-old mom Kayla and 10-year-old dad Bhalu. This is the second successful birth of this species at the Zoo in the last four years, and marks the first successful pair of cubs of this species born in more than 30 years at the Zoo. Mom and cubs are doing well and the Zoo's animal team continues to monitor their health via camera in their behind-the-scenes den. Kayla is showing great maternal behavior and has been in constant physical contact with the infants since birth. The sex of the cubs has not yet been determined and names have not been chosen. They will NOT be visible to the public until April when mom decides it is time for them to venture out.

Main Line Today Restaurant Week Returns with Largest Line-up Ever Featuring 40+ Restaurants

Main Line Today and Today Media are proud to announce the return of Main Line Today Restaurant Week, running from February 26 to March 11, 2023. The 14-day culinary celebration brings together the talents of top chefs, restaurants and purveyors in Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties. More than 40 restaurants - the most ever- have signed up including newcomers Twenty One Pips, White Dog, Buena Onda and The Pullman Restaurant & Bar. The roster also includes the most celebrated names in the region, including Autograph Brasserie, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, Lola's Garden, Pizzeria Vetri Devon, Savona, Stove and Tap, Terrain Cafe The Refectory and more. Participating restaurants will offer special three-course or four-course prix fixe menus with expanded price points to showcase the diversity of the Main Line dining scene. For lunch look for $25, $30, and/or $35 menus (plus beverage, tax and gratuity) or for dinner look for $30, $45, and/or $55 menus (plus beverage, tax and gratuity). Restaurants can choose what works best for them, offering lunch, dinner, or both—dine-in or takeout. Lincoln Mill Haunted House Presents Valentine's Themed Haunted House in Manayunk

Philadelphia's scariest new haunted attraction is reopening its doors for a one-night only pop-up event on Saturday, February 11th. Lincoln Mill Haunted House presents Viktor's Valentine: A Dark Love Story featuring candlelight-only tours through the depths of the famous mill at 4100 Main Street in Manayunk. Guests will descend through the hidden chamber and into the darkness where a blackout experience will heighten the senses. Be prepared to come up close and personal with the inhabitants of the mill - and keep close watch for the ghost of Viktor's Valentine. Warning: Proceed with caution as this experience is meant to be scary. Over 30 scare-actors will bring the experience to life. Candlelight tours leave between 6:30pm and 10:00pm, with tickets only $25 per person or $45 per couple. All tickets include access before and after to the deck overlooking the Schuylkill River. Souvenir t-shirts are also available for only $12.00 when purchased in advance.

Stove and Co. Restaurant Group Announces New Boutique Steakhouse Heading to Malvern

Stove and Co. Restaurant Group continues its takeover of the Main Line and Western Suburbs with news of a new boutique restaurant opening in Malvern this winter. Owners Justin Weathers and Joe Monnich announce Joey Chops will open this February at 245 Lancaster Ave, Malvern, PA 19355. The new concept will take over the former home of Stove and Tap Malvern. Joey Chops will put a modern twist on the classic American steakhouse, with woodfired prime cuts, bright flavors, amazing seafood, new classic cocktails, and outstanding service. The 7,500 square foot restaurant and bar space will feature 135+ seats in the main dining room, private dining room, indoor bar and outdoor bar and lounge spaces. Renovations are currently underway, and will include all new furniture, the addition of tablecloths and new décor, a softening of the space, a new private dining room and event space, updates the the floorplan, and an extended selection of spirits and wines. When opened, Joey Chops will join other Stove and Co. concepts that include DePaul's Table: Modern Italian Steakhouse in Ardmore, Al Pastor in Exton, Stove and Tap in West Chester and Lansdale, Revival Pizza Pub in Exton Springs, and GBU (Good Bad and Ugly) in West Chester.

Inis Nua Theatre Presents American Premiere of Queer Love Story Meet Me at Dawn

Inis Nua Theatre Company premieres the first Mainstage production of their 19th season with the American premiere of Meet Me at Dawn, written by Scottish playwright Zinnie Harris. Meet Me at Dawn will be directed by Sam Tower and stars Hannah Gold and Jackie Soro. The show runs from February 15 until March 5, 2023 for a total of 15 performances. All performances will take place at the Louis Bluver Theatre at The Theatres at the Drake, 302 S. Hicks Street in Philadelphia.
