New Tiger King Inspired Beer Roars to Life from Evil Genius Beer Company

Evil Genius Beer Company taps a much needed distraction with the debut of another very serious beer with a very silly (and timely) name. The Philadelphia and Fishtown-based brewer announces the debut of a Tiger King inspired pale ale that pays homage to one of the biggest cultural phenomenons sweeping the nation. Felt Cute, Might Feed My Husband to a Tiger Later IDK is a special edition pale ale 4.2% abv. that is available in growlers through carry-out at the Evil Genius Beer Company Lab at 1727 Front Street. Starting today, Evil Genius also will partner with Quick Sip beer delivery service to expand access to their beer and seltzer to across the city. Quick Sip delivery will mean that to get the new Felt Cute brew you only have to travel from your couch to the front door.

Birds on a Wire Dance Theatre, Philly’s collaborative dance company dedicated to emerging, female artists returns to the Philadelphia Fringe Festival with In the Clearing. This contemporary, full-length dance work, directed by Artistic Director Melissa Cameron, embarks on a journey through a fairy-tale forest to uncover the best and worst of humanity. What do the dancers discover in these woods? Beauty and nature? Threats and danger? Pack a picnic basket in this BYOB (Bring Your Own picnic Blanket) adventure at Christ Church Neighborhood House on Friday, September 9 at 8:00m or Saturday, September 10 at 1pm and 6pm to discover what is In the Clearing.

Revolution Taco Owners Form 33rd Street Hospitality Catering

33rd Street Hospitality owners Carolyn Nguyen, Michael Sultan and Alan Krawitz announce the formation of 33rd Street Hospitality Catering. Hot on the heels of the launch of their first brick-and-mortar restaurant Revolution Taco, and following the debut of new summer menus for food trucks Say Cheese Philadelphia, Street Food Philly and Taco Mondo, the trio will expand and formalize catering for private and corporate events, dinners and parties. The trio brings 25 years of combined experience in the kitchen and hospitality industry. Operations will center out of the corporation's commissary kitchen in East Falls at Sherman Mills.

South Street Spring Festival Announces Restaurants, Philly Taco Eating Contest and Maifest

South Street Headhouse District serves up the best tastes and sips of the city during South Street Spring Festival, on Saturday, May 7, 2016, from 11:00am to 8:00pm. Philadelphia’s largest annual spring block party announces 30+ restaurants, bars, bakeries and food trucks that will fill the 12 blocks of South Street and surrounding streets. Brauhaus Schmitz will return with Maifest on the 700 block with with German beers, dancers, music, food, flower crowns and even a Maypole. Inis Nua Theatre Presents American Premiere of The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning

Inis Nua Theatre Company moves to The Proscenium Theatre at its new home The Drake (at 203 South Hicks Street) to present The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning by Tim Price. The American premiere of this Welsh play revives some not-so-long-ago American history to tell the story of the young Army intelligence analyst who leaked the largest amount of classified documents in U.S. history.
The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning opens on Friday, April 29 at 8:00 pm, with previews on Wednesday, April 27 and Thursday, April 28 at 7:00 pm. The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning runs for a total of 16 performances, through May 15, 2016. All shows are at the Proscenium Theatre at The Drake, 203 South Hicks Street. South Hicks Street is right next to The Drake apartment building at 1512 Spruce Street.

Society Hill Playhouse to Host Final Curtain Call with Liberty City Radio Theatre
