Stina Teams Up With Sushi Whisperer Kevin Yanaga for Return of Guest Chef and Charity Dinner Series

Stina BYO, Philadelphia’s restaurant with a social mission, announces a brand new monthly Guest Chef Series and Charity Dinner that will benefit local non-profit organizations. After three sold-out charity dinners in a row in the fall, Stina is excited to continue their Guest Chef Charity Dinner Series in 2022 with the Philly's Sushi Whisperer Kevin Yanaga. On Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 4:00pm to 10:00pm, Stina is honored to open its kitchen to special guest Yanaga, of Izakaya by Yanaga and soon-to-open Omakase by Yanaga, who will work with Stina's owner Chef Bobby Saritsoglou on a delicious multi course, prix fixe menu. Twenty percent of the evening's sales are going to this month's beneficiary, Asian Arts Initiative. Reservations are available on Resy. Philadelphia School of Circus Arts Announces Return of Summer Circus Camp in Mt. Airy

Philadelphia School of Circus Arts announces 2022 Summer Circus Camp June 20 - August 26, for students looking to run off to the region's big top. PSCA’s award-winning camp is back and has options for kids ages 4 -5 (Tots), 6 -7 (Junior), 8 – 12 (Youth) and 13 – 18 (Teen). Campers are divided into groups within each camp by age and experience level. No prior experience is needed for camp. Each session lasts one week and culminates in an immersive circus show presented to family and friends. Children will walk the wire, take to the air and juggle their creativity from 9:00am to 3:00pm at PSCA's beautiful circus campus (6452 Greene Street). Full-day (9am – 3pm) Tots, Junior, Youth and Teen camps cost $450 for each one-week session. Extended camp (3:00pm – 5:00pm) costs an additional $150 per week (not available for Tots).

Golden Girls Mystery Experience Makes Philadelphia Premiere at Craft Hall Starting March 5th

A Golden Girls Murder Mystery: The Curse of Jessica Fletcher will make its Philadelphia stage debut starting March 5th at Craft Hall, at 901 N. Delaware Avenue. Rose, Dorothy, Blanche and Sophia are back at it again, and this time the four friends from Miami are trying their hand at solving a mystery. Come out for whodunnit vibes mixed with tons of laughs during this unique immersive experience that even includes themed cocktails and food. Tickets are on sale now for $64 each and include the show, food and three cocktails per person. Additional cocktails and food are pay-as-you-go. The show will run from March to April, on select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with times on show nights at 6:00pm and 9:00pm. All on-sale dates and shows are on the website, with more dates to be added for middle to late April - and beyond.

Philly AIDS Thrift Announces Over $300,000 in New Grants to 27 Local Organizations

Philly AIDS Thrift is pleased to award $300,035 this spring to 27 organizations and programs focused on HIV prevention and care, as well as support for people living with HIV/AIDS in the Delaware Valley. Philadelphia's largest thrift store and non-profit organization has turned yesterday's treasures into $3,691,813 over the organization's 16 years to support Philadelphia regional organizations on the frontline of the HIV/AIDS crisis. This support is more important than ever as non-profits throughout Philadelphia and across the country have been challenged financially during the continued global pandemic. The annual grant program by Philly AIDS Thrift started back in 2014 as another way to serve the community, and it has continued even during the COVID crisis. The next request for grant proposals will take place towards the end of 2022.

Philadelphia Bark Bowl Makes Debut Super Bowl Weekend at Craft Hall to Benefit PSPCA

Craft Hall and Pennsylvania SPCA are teaming up to present the first-ever Philadelphia Bark Bowl on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from Noon to 2:00pm. After a ruff January, FCM Hospitality and PSPCA are looking to bring out the smiles by watching furry friends play, tumble and go for a touchdown in both the special indoor dog park created for this special event, plus outside at Unleashed Bark and Beer - Philly's Dog Park Beer Garden. Enjoy food and drink specials, while meeting some adorable adoptables. These VIPs (Very Important Pups) will be the cheerleaders for the event and will be sure to steal hearts on Valentine's Weekend. Come out and find a Valentine in one of these paws-itively perfect pups! Plus, guests are encouraged to bring their own well-behaved four-legged besties to romp and play the day away. Philadelphia's Largest Restaurant in Modern History Announced for Waterfront Coming This Apri

FCM Hospitality and Owner Avram Hornik announce a brand new restaurant that aims to make Philadelphia history. Liberty Point will replace Hornik's Craft Hall as the city's largest restaurant when it opens in April with seating and capacity for up to 1,400 guests. The new outdoor-indoor concept will feature three main levels, five bars, food, drink, live entertainment, beautiful landscaping, lush plants, blooming flowers, unique vibes and the best views of the waterfront. Liberty Point will be located at 211 S. Columbus Blvd. Philadelphia, PA 19106, adjacent to the Independence Seaport Museum.

Inis Nua Theatre Presents American Premiere of Finding Fassbender at Philadelphia's Drake Theatre

Inis Nua Theatre presents the American Premiere of FINDING FASSBENDER, a solo show from actor turned playwright Lydia Larson. When Eve gets a promotion, she moves to London in the hopes of having a glamorous big city life. But soon she discovers that being one in 9 million can be pretty lonely. Feeling at her lowest, a lifeline comes to Eve in the form of a letter for her apartment’s former tenant – Hollywood actor Michael Fassbender. Now all Eve has to do is return this letter to the rightful owner! The production will be directed by Barrymore Award-nominated director and Inis Nua Founder and Artistic Director Tom Reing. Previews begin Wednesday, February 9, with opening night on Friday, February 11. The show runs through February 27, 2022 for a total of 15 performances. All performances will take place at the Louis Bluver Theatre at the Drake, 302 South Hicks Street. Tickets are $15 - $30.
