SET Nolibs Brings New Instagram Ready Neighborhood Restaurant To Northern Liberties

SET Hospitality is expanding beyond New York City with the debut of their first out of market concept right here in Philadelphia. SET NoLibs will make its official grand debut this Friday, August 21, 2020 at 3:00pm at 1030 N. 2nd Street in Liberties Walk. SET NoLibs aims to present a unique, relaxing and interactive dining and drink experience in a spacious, colorful and hip atmosphere. For their Philadelphia grand opening, owners of SET Hospitality have partnered locally with management partners Glu Hospitality for the new location. SET NoLibs launches with dinner, brunch and drink service.

Blue Pearl Cafe By Juice Dr. Introduces New Vegan Cafe To Downtown Ardmore

Ardmore Initiative announces the debut of the Main Line's newest plant-based eatery and cafe. Blue Pearl Cafe presented by owner FJ Leto and his company Juice Dr. will grand open this Saturday, August 22nd at 9:00am at 44 Rittenhouse Place. Blue Pearl Cafe will features a menu of plant-based vegan offerings that include breakfast and lunch dishes, coffee, and tea, organic smoothies, cold pressed juices, wellness shots, organic noodles, gluten free grain bowls, salads and more. Signature dishes include Spaghetti and Beetballs, Pad Thai, Walnut Taco Salad, Acai Bowl, Dark Blue Overnight Oats and other tasty dishes. The former eye glass store is 750 square feet inside and features three tables inside with extensive coffee bar seating along the main wall. Most indoor dining, however, is on hold and the cafe has a limited number of people inside to ensure social distancing.

Philadelphia Zoo Welcomes A Caribbean Flamingo Chick To Its Growing Flock

Philadelphia Zoo is pleased to welcome an adorable new member to its ever-growing family: a flamingo chick, hatched on July 12—is the first of this species to hatch at the Zoo in more than 20 years! To avoid disturbing the new flamingo family and the rest of the flock during this sensitive stage in development, Zoo staff has not yet handled the chick so its height, weight and its sex is not yet confirmed. Anejo Grand Opens First Location Outside of New York City in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia

Añejo Restaurant Group has come together with Glu Hospitality to bring Añejo to Philadelphia. The acclaimed Mexican restaurant and tequila bar will make its official grand opening debut this Friday, July 31, 2020 at 4:00pm in Northern Liberties at the Piazza, 1001 N. 2nd Street. This new location represents the restaurant's first expansion out of the New York City marketplace, where they also have locations in Hell's Kitchen and TriBeCa. The opening comes after the restaurant was days away from opening in March and which then experienced delays due to stay at home orders and the delay of indoor dining. Now, with an expansive, shaded, and beautiful outdoor parklette and sidewalk cafe ready to enjoy, Añejo will bring Philly its innovative Mexican cuisine, top quality service, and hospitality experience, plus expertise in cocktails and agave spirits. For launch, look for 50+ outdoor seats to start with an additional 35 seats coming in middle August.

Wonderspaces Philadelphia Reopens at Fashion District with New Exhibits and Safety Protocols

Wonderspaces Philadelphia announces it will reopen this Friday, July 31, 2020 at Fashion District Philadelphia starting at Noon 12:00pm. Parks On Tap Announces New Summer-Long Location at Fairmount Waterworks

Parks on Tap announces that a second summer-long location will make its debut this Wednesday, July 8th outside the famous Water Works (640 Waterworks Drive). The once traveling beer garden that gives back will now operate two stationary locations at the same time for the balance of the summer. The new Waterworks location will offer beautiful and sweeping views of Boathouse Row and the Schuylkill River. When open, patrons will be able to enjoy fresh food, beers on tap, wine and non-alcoholic beverages set in an outdoor environment with comfortable chairs and clean restrooms. Waterworks joins the already operating Parks on Tap outside Fairmount Horticulture Center Arboretum (100 N. Horticultural Drive). The new location will feature the same proven health and safety protocols that have already been launched with the Horticulture Center site, including additional cleaning measures, ability for contact tracing, and other procedures as prescribed by the City of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania.
