Philadelphia's Top Chefs Fire Up Signature Dishes and Street Food at East Passyunk Flavors on the Avenue Street Festival

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District presents Flavors on the Avenue street festival on Sunday, April 28, 2019, from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The city’s first big food festival of the spring will feature five blocks of street food, seasonal sips, craft beer, live music, sidewalk sales and free family fun – on East Passyunk Avenue from Broad to Dickinson streets.

East Passyunk Hosts Annual Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt and Photos with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 13, 2019

Hop on down to East Passyunk Avenue for a day of ‘egg-citing’ Easter festivities! On Saturday, April 13, 2019, East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) presents the Annual East Passyunk Easter Egg Hunt from 11:00am to 2:00pm on the lawn of the South Philadelphia Older Adult Center (1430 East Passyunk). Children are invited to decorate egg collecting bags, enjoy treats, dance to family-friendly tunes, hunt for prize-filled eggs and meet the Easter Bunny.

P'unk Burger Spins Up Girl Scout Inspired Cookie Milkshakes to Benefit Leadership Programs That Empower Local Girls

Relive the favorite flavors of your childhood with four Girl Scout inspired cookie milkshakes at P’unk Burger at 1823 East Passyunk. Passyunk’s organic burger, fries and shake shop announces four limited edition cookie shakes that all feature Girl Scout cookies through March 31, 2019. Shakes will include toasted coconut and caramel sea salt, campfire s'mores, chocolate peanut butter and jelly, and mint cookie. On Saturdays and Sundays during March (at various times), local Girl Scouts will sell cookies in front of the eatery. P’unk Burger will also donate 100% of quarters from the P’unk Burger Arcade to support Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania’s Girl Experience and Outreach Programming.

From low key BYOBs to elegant candlelight dining to Italian “red gravy” joints to Mexican street food, East Passyunk Restaurant Week boasts a diversity of dining experiences and cuisines that offer something for everyone.

The new collection is part of Cima’s mission to offer a fast, fresh and even healthier dining experience for customers. Infusing edibles with CBD oil is a trend sweeping the nation due to potential health benefits of what some call a new “superfood.” CBD is commonly used to manage anxiety, stress and depression. East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) is revving up for the 13th Annual Car Show and Street Festival presented by Jefferson Health Methodist Hospital on Sunday, July 29, 2018, from 11:00am to 4:00pm, on EPA between Broad and Dickinson streets. Look for nearly 175+ muscle, classic, antique, custom and show cars, trucks and motorcycles will line the Avenue, with street vendors, circus performances, rack sales, kids’ activities, live music and the Bang! Boom! CRAFT! Show in between. Wine and dine among the cars as award-winning restaurants and food trucks serve specially priced street food and summertime drinks. Admission is FREE for attendees and $20 for cars. Check-in for cars is moved up this year to 8:00am to 11:00 am. The event's rain date is Sunday, August 5, 2018. Twenty East Passyunk Chefs Join Forces For An Unforgettable Night At Bok Bar September 18

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District announces the return of “Up on a Roof - The Chefs of Passyunk at Bok Bar” on Monday, September 18, 2017, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Twenty chefs and restaurateurs from Philadelphia’s restaurant row will celebrate the neighborhood's thriving culinary scene with a cocktail party and benefit on top of Bok Bar (800 Mifflin) in the former Bok Technical High School. Guests will enjoy one of the city’s most picturesque views while enjoying cuisine from top chefs like Nicholas Elmi, Joncarl Lachman, Todd Wentz, Chris Kearse, Lee Styer, Lynn Rinaldi and others. New restaurants participating in this second year event include Barcelona, Capogiro, Plenty Cafe and P'unk Burger. Tickets are $40 and available at bit.ly/passyunkboktickets.
