Starting this weekend, private heated individual greenhouses are taking over a Center City street outside Harper's Garden. The Greenhouses at Harper's Garden by FCM Hospitality will debut tonight with private seating for four to nine people. Over in Northern Liberties, plastic igloos that seat two, four, six and up to nine are popping up poolside at the former Vesper Dayclub that has pivoted to a year-round high end steak-house by Glu Hospitality. Over at Charlie was a sinner and Bar Bombón customers are being kept warm inside and out with hot drinks out of thermos bottles, and free custom blankets to put on their lap while they enjoy sweater weather - and that they get to take home. In Bucks County, Pennsylvania, a few minutes from Philadelphia, Parx Casino has reopened their "shape-shifting" beer garden under a new name and layout.

Starting Friday, and continuing through the end of October, look for private, heated individual greenhouses to change the entire landscape and visuals on 18th Street in Philadelphia's Center City and Rittenhouse Row neighborhood. The Greenhouses at Harper's Garden will feature at least ten private greenhouse dining rooms that feature a door, glass walls, tables and chairs, decor, twinkling lights and even heat on the cold days. They will be offered and available in two sizes, to either seat four to seven guests, or six to nine guests. They will be available to book for no additional fee by, and they are first come, first serve.

Craft Concepts Group and owner Teddy Sourias announce the grand opening of Sueño this Friday, October 9, 2020 at 4:00pm at 114 S. 12th Street. Sueño showcases Day of the Dead inspired decor, original art pieces from the region's top artists, traditional and fusion Mexican cuisine by Executive Chef Caroline Hough, Puerto Rican-style empanadas from Tata's Empanadas, margaritas and cocktails, and an extensive list of tequilas. This new pop-up restaurant will occupy the first two floors of the building that Sourias recently purchased before the global pandemic. The plan was to put in a full service, top to bottom renovated and stunning restaurant like he is famous for - until the shut down halted his grand plans for his newest restaurant and eatery. Ghosts and ghouls, witching hour approaches. Teddy Sourias and Craft Concepts Group - the creators of Philadelphia's Christmas Pop-up Bar - announces the grand opening of Nightmare Before Tinsel. This year, during the global pandemic, the former spooky season pop-up bar will return as a socially distanced haunted restaurant with food, drink and art. Nightmare Before Tinsel will creak open its doors this Friday, October 2, 2020, at 4:00pm. Weekly hours are Monday through Friday, from 4:00pm to 11:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday, from 2:00pm to 11:00pm. Full table service for parties of four to six will be available for outdoor seating in a brand new and expansive haunted parklette and streetery. NIghtmare will also serve legal cocktails-to-go and food outside the front window. All guests must wear a mask when not seated. All tables are socially distanced at least six feet apart. Staff will follow all local, state and national health and safety recommendations including disposal menus, the use of a menu QR code, wiping down of all surfaces, wearing masks and other protocols in place for the safety of not just the patrons but the staff as well. Tickets are available for an introductory rate of $15 for the launch of Nightmare for the first week, and tickets after that will range from $15 to $20. Tickets include one food and one drink item.
