Philadelphia restaurant veterans Alex and Stavros Vasiliadis, along George Karagiannis, announce the restaurant grand opening of Bodega Bar and Kitchen at 1223 Walnut Street this Friday at 11:00am. The former owners of Bump, Pandora's Kitchen and Monkey Bar present a first-of-its-kind stylish, lush, intricate and colorful new restaurant, bar and live entertainment venue that is ready to dazzle with a tantalizing blend of Latin-inspired cuisine, unique hand-crafted cocktails, and live upbeat music. The 950 square foot space is ready for Instagram from the 20+ foot high ceilings to the ornate tile floors - with shimmering walls and interior design showcasing big and small details, original art, giant murals and original family memories.

Teddy Sourias and Craft Concepts Group announce the season grand opening of Tinsel Christmas Pop-up Bar at 116 S. 12th Street, Philadelphia. The mad elves from Tradesman's, BRU Craft & Wurst, Cinder Copper & Lace, U-Bahn, Uptown Beer Garden, Kontrol and Finn McCool's Ale House have spent months decking the halls to bring this holiday sensation back with an even bigger space, extended hours, more days, extra twinkle, added glitter, festive holiday tunes and more. New surprises include music playlist curated with help from Mr. Christmas himself, DJ Robert Drake from XPN, and a custom take-home Tinsel soup can with cocktail to benefit MANNA. The holiday-themed cocktail and craft beer bar will grand open on Thursday, December 6, 2018 and run through New Year's Day. Tinsel's hours will be Monday and Tuesday, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 2:00pm to Midnight, Saturday Noon to Midnight, and Sunday Noon to 10:00pm. Tinsel will offer happy hour specials Monday through Friday 5:00pm to 6:00pm with $2 off select craft beer, Winter Wonderland cocktails and wine. During Happy Hour, professional "mall" Santas will enjoy their first drink for free when they "drop down the chimney" in full Santa attire and show credentials. Mall Santas in full attire will drink for half off all other times! Tinsel will end the season with a special New Year's Eve Party and New Year's Day Celebration. Fuel Restaurants in Philadelphia Debuts Facial Recognition Kiosks, New Menu, Under Ten Dollar Pricing

FUEL (http://fuelrechargeyourself.com) announces exciting changes that will make for a faster, fresher and healthier dining experience - all for under $10! Starting this week, Fuellocations (University City, Center City, East Passyunk) will debut 17 new menu additions with all options now being priced for $10 or less. With these additions comes faster service, fresher ingredients and innovative dishes; including the debut of acai bowls, a Tahini smoothie, Toast Boxes, and special menu items by celebrity chef Brian Duffy (of Bar Rescue). Facial recognition ordering kiosks are now installed at the University City and Center City FUEL locations, allowing customers quicker ordering which is key during busy lunch rushes. The kiosks will use facial recognition to identify customers and pull up past orders, allow for credit card ordering and provide visual images of all dishes in one swipe.

Fuel Center City To Debut Brand New Dining Room, Gives Away Free Smoothies!

Fresh new changes are coming to Fuel Center City at 1225 Walnut Street. Owner Rocco Cima announces that the Midtown Village location of his 500 calorie (or less) cafe will be renovated from top to bottom with new furniture and lighting, the addition of a community table, opened up dining spaces, new artwork and design elements, and an overall colorful new look. Construction and interior work has been under way since earlier last month. Fuel Center City is currently open during the renovations. The new dining room will debut during a relaunch weekend scheduled for April 14, 15 and 16, 2017 - with a different giveaway each day that weekend.

Cinder Taps New Executive Chef, Debuts Happy Hour And New Food Menu

Teddy Sourias of Craft Concepts Group (BRU Craft & Wurst, U-Bahn, Uptown Beer Garden, Finn McCool's Ale House) announces a new chef, new menu and the debut of happy hour at Cinder at 1500 Locust Street. The Rittenhouse neighborhood cider/sour bar and artisan pizza kitchen welcomes Oliver Muguia as the new Executive Chef. Munguia debuts his first menu since taking over the kitchen, with over a dozen new dishes including pale ale mussels, arrabbiata wood-fired pizza, duck spring rolls, mojo shrimp and octopus, cherry and chevre salad and mushroom empanaditas. Six of the new dishes will be featured on Cinder's first-ever happy hour that runs Monday through Friday, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Happy hour specials include $5.00 appetizers, $8.00 mussels, $3.00 off all drafts, $3.00 off all wines by the glass, plus a featured wood-fired pie of the day. Bru, U-Bahn And Cinder Tap 92 Kegs of Sours, Ciders And Stouts On Pro Bowl Sunday Jan 29th

BRU Craft & Wurst, U-Bahn and Cinder will unleash 92 kegs of rare, fancy and unique drafts on Pro Bowl Sunday, January 29th during Sour Bowl, Stout Bowl and new Cider Bowl. Since Philly Beer Week back in June, Craft Concepts (the group behind the three bars) has been squirreling away hard-to-get keys that include sours, wild ales, funky ciders and tops in imperial IPAs and stouts. Taps start pouring at BRU (1318 Chestnut Street) with Sour Bowl III at 11:00am, followed by Cider Bowl I at Cinder (1500 Locust) at 2:00pm, then crossing back over Broad to Stout Bowl II at U-Bahn (1320 Chestnut) at 4:00pm. At 6:00pm, look for ten bonus kegs to pour back up at BRU with a special Sour Bowl Overtime featuring Russian River. All beers will be specially priced between $7 and $10 (average) and are available first come, first served until kegs kick. Inis Nua Theatre Company jumps into 2017 with the raucous, fast-paced and heartful Leper + Chip, an American premiere by Lee Coffey at the Louis Bluver Theater at The Drake (203 South Hicks Street). Leper + Chip opens on Friday, February 17 at 8:00 pm, with previews on Wednesday, February 15, and Thursday, February 16, at 7:00 pm.
