Philly's Largest Restaurant Craft Hall Re-Opens and Pivots with New BBQ Focus and 35,000 SF Space

Fire up the smoker! FCM Hospitality and owner Avram Hornik announce the reopening of Philadelphia's largest restaurant starting this weekend. Craft Hall is officially back on the Waterfront at 901 N. Delaware Avenue starting Thursday, January 14th with outdoor dining, take-out and delivery, and starting Saturday, January 16th with expansive indoor dining. As restaurants adapt their operations to survive the pandemic, look for Craft Hall to pivot and turn the menu focus to BBQ, smoked meats and hearty pizzas. Executive Chef Adam Iazarick and his team will put the 700 lb. smoker to full use in creating a menu that is delicious and hearty as the perfect mid-winter pandemic comfort food.

Philadelphia and Main Line restaurants will close out 2020 with special dinners, feasts, kid-friendly day-time events, brunches and more. Highlights include Garces Trading Company offering food from Amada, The Olde Bar, Village Whiskey, and J.G. Domestic. Glu Hospitality will be having the Kids Countdown to New Year's with Cinderella at the Igloos, and other offerings at Germantown Garden Grill and Germantown Garden. New Years Eve Dining will also take place at Positano Coast, Harper’s Garden, and Delice et Chocolat. Philadelphia Restaurants Get Creative During Sweater Weather with Igloos, Greenhouses, Blankets and Shape-Shifting Beer Gardens

Sweater weather is here and while outdoor dining is still having a record moment during the most challenging of years, Philadelphia region restaurants and attractions are getting creative to survive the cold weather. Starting this weekend, private heated individual greenhouses are taking over a Center City street outside Harper's Garden. The Greenhouses at Harper's Garden by FCM Hospitality will debut tonight with private seating for four to nine people. Over in Northern Liberties, plastic igloos that seat two, four, six and up to nine are popping up poolside at the former Vesper Dayclub that has pivoted to a year-round high end steak-house by Glu Hospitality. Over at Charlie was a sinner and Bar Bombón customers are being kept warm inside and out with hot drinks out of thermos bottles, and free custom blankets to put on their lap while they enjoy sweater weather - and that they get to take home. In Bucks County, Pennsylvania, a few minutes from Philadelphia, Parx Casino has reopened their "shape-shifting" beer garden under a new name and layout.

Private Greenhouse Dining Rooms Take Over Philadelphia Outside Harper’s Garden

FCM Hospitality and owner Avram Hornik announce the debut of The Greenhouses at Harper's Garden starting this weekend. Starting Friday, and continuing through the end of October, look for private, heated individual greenhouses to change the entire landscape and visuals on 18th Street in Philadelphia's Center City and Rittenhouse Row neighborhood. The Greenhouses at Harper's Garden will feature at least ten private greenhouse dining rooms that feature a door, glass walls, tables and chairs, decor, twinkling lights and even heat on the cold days. They will be offered and available in two sizes, to either seat four to seven guests, or six to nine guests. They will be available to book for no additional fee by, and they are first come, first serve.

Concourse Dance Bar Reinvents Itself And Reopens This Week As A Covid Safe Restaurant

FCM Hospitality and owner Avram Hornik announce the re-opening of Concourse Dance Bar at 1635 Market Street, Back Entrance. Starting Friday, October 9th, and continuing until it is safe for bars and nightclubs to re-open, Concourse will return and operate temporarily as a restaurant serving up a special pre-paid three course, small-plate menu of Philadelphia food favorites that are paired with three cocktails (or non-alcoholic mocktails). Guests will enjoy their food and drink pairings as they move through three rooms of the 15,000 square foot space. Masks are required at all times when not seated, and all seating is a minimum of six feet apart. While moving through the space, socially-distanced patrons will step back in time for a full sensory experience filled with nostalgia, 90s tunes, eclectic and vintage decor, Instagrammable art, colorful lights and lasers - and the brand new Philadelphia-inspired ice room.

Lola's Garden is now officially under permit review construction at Suburban Square in the heart of the red hot Ardmore dining scene. The brand-new indoor and outdoor restaurant, patio and beer/wine garden hybrid will take inspiration from the company's popular Rittenhouse restaurant, Harper's Garden. The 260 seat dining destination will offer beautiful and picturesque views of Suburban Square's inner green courtyard, while offering the approachability of the company's waterfront favorite Morgan's Pier. The Modern American culinary program will be chef-driven and highlight seasonal local offerings. Look for ample vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Morgan's Pier Fall Fest returns for the sixth season from September 23 to November 1, 2020. Head to the expansive dining destination as it converts into an autumn wonderland - with six more weeks of stunning views, entertainment, fall food and cocktails, seasonal beers and much more. New for 2020, Morgan's Pier Fall Fest for the first time ever in its history will operate fully at seven days a week. Hours once Fall Fest begins (and new times start in Philadelphia/Pennsylvania) will be from Monday to Sunday, from 12pm Noon to last seating at 9:30pm. Starting this Friday at 4:00pm, Parks on Tap is heading to South Philadelphia to bring a 50,000 square foot beer garden to FDR Park across from the public golf course, at 1500 Pattison Avenue.
