This special seasonal pizza is inspired by their families' Christmas Eve traditions and by a seven course seven fish dinner popular in South Philadelphia. Pizza of the 7 Fishes features mozarella topped with clams, mussels, shrimp, tuna, crab meat and sardine all sauteed with fresh olive oil and garlic, and topped with anchovies, fresh lemon and basil. To celebrate the grand opening, the Dilks will give away free pizza slices on Friday between 11:00am-1:00pm and 4:00pm-7:00pm. Marlo and Jason Dilks pay homage to a South Philly Christmas Eve tradition with two new offerings for the entire month of December in all three SliCE locations. 

Pizza of the 7 Fishes debuts tomorrow with free samples on Free Friday in Rittenhouse, South Philly and Washington Township locations. Pizza of the 7 Fishes will feature mozarella topped with clams, mussels, shrimp, tuna, crab meat, anchovies and sardine all sauteed with fresh olive oil and garlic, and topped with fresh lemon and basil. This new monthly special is a tip of the hat to the Italian-American celebration of Christmas Eve. It is $18.99 for small and $25.99 for large. 

As the perfect pairing, they will also introduce a new salad for the month of December - Frutti di Mare Caesar for $12.95, featuring 
crab Meat, Italian tuna, shrimp artichokes, red onion, provolone and roasted peppers on a bed of Romaine with Caesar dressing.

SliCE Debuts New Seasonal Pies During Freebie Friday

SliCE celebrates the finest flavors and ingredients of the season with the introduction of new monthly and seasonal dishes. Starting in October, SliCE will complement its robust menu of Trenton-style pies, gluten-free pizzas and fresh salads with new offerings like The Granny Pizza and Chicken Caesar Pizza.  During the entire fall season, SliCE will offer a new Green Goddess Gluten-Free Pizza, Sausage and Peppers Pizza and Fall Beet Salad. New monthly specials will debut on the first Friday of the month during “Freebie Fridays” where new and returning SliCE fans can be the first to taste-test each creation. Free samples will be offered in-store from Noon through 7:00 PM every first Friday. SliCE has three locations that include Rittenhouse (1740 Sansom Street, 215-557-9299), South Philadelphia and Italian Market (1180 S. 10th Street, 215-463-0868) and Washington Township (137 Egg Harbor Road, 856-302-5099).
