Christmas Village in Philadelphia presented by Bank of America will again transform LOVE Park (1600 JFK Blvd.) and City Hall into a traditional, open-air German Christmas Market. Christmas Village returns for its 14th season, running from Thanksgiving Day through Christmas Eve, with a preview weekend on Saturday, November 20 to Sunday, November 21. Follow the smell of German gingerbread and Swiss Raclette cheese to Philadelphia’s largest holiday attraction! Enjoy holiday sights and sounds with tens of thousands of twinkling lights, festive decorations, live music, and multiple children’s activities. Attractions this year include a double-tier Christmas Village Carousel, Ferris Wheel presented by T-Mobile, and Kids Train presented by SEPTA. Leave the cooking to Aversa PR's client restaurants for this Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving dinner is less than a month away, and our clients are cooking up a feast to keep you out of the kitchen and giving you more time to spend with family. This is one of the single largest days and weeks for some of our clients - and holiday meals and meal kits have been a huge saviour during these pandemic times for some of the restaurants. For our early list for Thanksgiving please find menus below for Garces Trading Company, Chez Colet at Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square, Bridget Foy's, Positano Coast, El Camino Real, Hudson Table, Sophie's BBQ, Fork, Panorama. Wonderspaces Philadelphia Expands with New Installations and Debuts Bar and Cocktail Program

Wonderspaces Philadelphia heads into fall and the holiday season at Fashion District Philadelphia by adding two new extraordinary installations to its show of interactive and experiential artwork. The current collection of global art will now include the most ever pieces, sixteen in total, with the addition of On a Human Scale by Matthew Matthew, Before I Die by Candy Chang and returning favorite Dinner Party by Charlotte Stoudt, Laura Wexler, Angel Soto, Skybound, Ryot & Telexist. On a Human Scale is a project which unites voices and faces of the world through technology. The project started as an experiment, by filming everyday New Yorkers singing. The individual voices are woven into an interactive instrument which visitors are invited to play, bringing the immersive audio-visual installation to life. Before I Die is a global participatory public art project that reimagines our relationship with death and with one another in the public realm. Originally created by artist Candy Chang in New Orleans after the death of a loved one, the artwork invites people to reflect and share their personal aspirations in public.

Northern Liberties Presents Hound-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest and Festival to Help Street Tails

Philadelphia's largest Halloween pet costume contest is back - and cuter than ever! Northern Liberties Business Improvement District partners with Street Tails Animal Rescue on the 7th Annual Hound-O-Ween Fall Festival and Doggie Costume Contest. The event is back in person and moves to the intersection of Laurel and N. 2nd Street, on Sunday, October 31st, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. This year, to ensure proper health and safety protocols, 40 of the region's most festively decked out pets are invited to strut across the stage. Contestants will compete for prizes in four categories for prizes, plus all pets will compete for the grand prize of $500, sponsored by Wilson’s Estate Jewelry. Registration for this annual benefit is only a $30 donation per pet. All proceeds benefit Street Tails Animal Rescue in their mission to help homeless and unwanted animals in the Philadelphia area.

Figo Ristorante and Figo Pizzeria to Debut in Northern Liberties by Glu Hospitality

Glu Hospitality and partners Derek Gibbons and Tim Lu announce the grand opening of Figo Ristorante and Figo Pizzeria this Friday, October 15th at 1033 N. 2nd Street. The two side-by-side restaurants will debut in the heart of the Northern Liberties Restaurant Row, in the former home of Darling's Diner and Wahlburgers, next to the Piazza. When opened, Figo will be the largest restaurant in the Northern Liberties Business Improvement District, offering nearly 10,000 square feet of space and 250+ seats. Figo Ristorante will be a full service restaurant, kitchen, bar and outdoor patio offering Italian cuisine by Chef Hee "Chino" Chang, with craft cocktails, espresso martini flights, Italian soda flights, two dozen taps, and over two dozen wines by the glass, bottle and flight. Opening services will include dinner, indoor dining, outdoor dining, delivery and take-out, with late night, happy hour and brunch service to be launched later in the fall. Next door, at the North end of the property, Figo Pizzeria will offer pizza pies and stuffed hoagies with lunch, mid-day and dinner service, with cafe seating outside and take-out/pick-up and delivery.

Christmas Village in Baltimore announces it will return to Inner Harbor for the coming 2021 holiday season. After being cancelled due to the mandatory shut-down last year, the traditional German Christmas Market again will light up West Shore Park from Thanksgiving (November 25th) through Christmas Eve (December 24th), with a special preview weekend planned for November 20 and 21, 2021. This beloved annual Charm City tradition will feature 50+ local small businesses, makers and international vendors, with something for everyone on Santa’s shopping list. Come ready to shop for toys, apparel, jewelry, decorations, home decor, artwork and much more. Famous German vendor Käthe Wohlfahrt will return with thousands of glass ornaments, nutcrackers, pyramids and limited-edition holiday decorations. Vendors will be located outside in traditional festively-decorated wooden huts, plus inside the giant heated festival tent. The 65 ft. tall Ferris Wheel, located right next to the Baltimore Visitor Center, will be returning in its full glory to add to the holiday and festive vibes. In its second year, this event will highlight the great outdoor dining spots in the neighborhood, showcase the best brunch restaurants in the city - and crown the neighborhood's winner for Best Bloody Mary! Garces announces the much-anticipated reopening of Volvér on Kimmel Cultural Campus just in time for the return of in-person performing arts. Stina Announces Monthly Guest Chef Charity Dinners with David Ansill, Joncarl Lachman and Phila Lorn

Stina BYO Chef Bobby Saritsoglou announces a brand new monthly Stina Guest Chef Series and Charity Dinner with three of Philly's finest chefs raising money in September, October and November for a different cause each month. Chef Phila Lorn will kick things off on Thursday, September 30th, with a dinner collaboration menu that will benefit Cambodian American Girls Empowering. For the second month, Stina will partner with Chef Joncarl Lachman of Noord and Winkel on Tuesday, October 28th. For the final fall event, Stina will partner with Chef David Ansill on Tuesday, November 30th. Each event will feature Stickman Brews, who will curate the evenings beer list to pair with the menus every month. For the September launch menu, guests will enjoy an eight course menu with dishes from Lorn and Saritsoglou for $65 per person, with an optional add on beer tasting with Stickman Brews for $10 per person.
