Get ready to sip, shop and support small local businesses at the return of Main Line Today's Ladies Night Out, presented by Ame Salon & Spa. Enjoy a night of fashion, beauty, food, drink and entertainment on Wednesday, April 27th, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, at the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve ( 3821 West Chester Pike) in Newtown Square. The event will feature dozens of vendors with a special spotlight on the region's women-owned business community. Tickets are on sale now for $40, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Breastcancer.org in their mission to help people make sense of the complex medical and personal information surrounding breast health and breast cancer.

Port Richmond Celebrates 175th Anniversary

The neighborhood of Port Richmond is turning 175 years old! All of Philadelphia is invited to the official celebration. Port Richmond Neighborhood Association will host The Official Port Richmond 175th Anniversary Celebration and Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26th, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, at Cohocksink Recreation Center. PRNA and community volunteers have been hosting an anniversary celebration for the iconic neighborhood formally since 2020 and informally since 2015. This year, PRNA will host its largest celebration to date with a free outdoor community party that will include a Port Richmond-Opoly Monopoly Tournament, cake ceremony, egg hunt, senior of the year, live music, family fun, vendors, food and more. Special guests and appearances will include Philadelphia School of Circus Arts' Youth Troupe, Easter Bunny, Minnie Mouse, Michael Jackson impersonator, Pawlucy Tae Kwon Do, Polish American String Band, The 501st Legion, and more. The iconic Stocks' Bakery will be making and donating the official 175th Anniversary cake, with a piece of cake for the first 300 people. Councilman Mark Squilla will present PRNA and the neighborhood with a special City Council citation to celebrate the milestone. Lokal Artisan Foods and French Toast Bites will be on hand with Port Richmond-roasted coffee made with Bean 2 Bean. The Easter Egg Hunt kicks things off right at 2:00pm, with the cake and ceremony at 4:00pm. The celebration is free and open to the public. The rain date is set for Sunday, March 27th.

Golden Girls Mystery Experience Makes Philadelphia Premiere at Craft Hall Starting March 5th

A Golden Girls Murder Mystery: The Curse of Jessica Fletcher will make its Philadelphia stage debut starting March 5th at Craft Hall, at 901 N. Delaware Avenue. Rose, Dorothy, Blanche and Sophia are back at it again, and this time the four friends from Miami are trying their hand at solving a mystery. Come out for whodunnit vibes mixed with tons of laughs during this unique immersive experience that even includes themed cocktails and food. Tickets are on sale now for $64 each and include the show, food and three cocktails per person. Additional cocktails and food are pay-as-you-go. The show will run from March to April, on select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with times on show nights at 6:00pm and 9:00pm. All on-sale dates and shows are on the website, with more dates to be added for middle to late April - and beyond.

Celebrate the Year of the Tiger with three Asian-owned businesses below celebrating Chinese New Year and/or Lunar New Year. Celebrations start as early as January 30 and run through mid-February. In University City and Rittenhouse, two of the largest Chinese restaurants, bars, lounges and event spaces in the city present a special menu of food and drink, plus two events with firecrackers, decorations and the traditional lion dance. Dim Sum House by Jane G's will celebrate starting January 30th through February 13th, with special events on February 5th. Glu Hospitality invites you to get frozen in Northern Liberties with the debut of the city's newest and most lavish Igloo experience, plus the return of Princess Brunches at the Igloos, and a brand-new heated cocktail garden. Starting this week, partners Derek Gibbons and Tim Lu bring a new holiday and winter experience to Northern Liberties Restaurant Row with the debut of enchanting and weather-proof sparkling Igloos at Figo Ristorante (1033 N. 2nd Street). The Igloos at Figo are neary 12 feet wide, seat up to eight people, and feature over a hundred clear sustainable panels, a table-top fire pit, festive decor, and a view of the night stars and the new Northern Liberties Christmas Tree. The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market will once again return to Dilworth Park from Saturday, November 20, 2021 to Saturday, January 1, 2022. Dozens of artisans, designers and small businesses from the greater Philadelphia region will offer decorations, fashion and gifts inside white, festively lit tents. Visitors will have the unique chance to shop gifts and products that can’t be found at a usual shopping mall - including artwork, home goods, ornaments, sweets, toys, apparel, jewelry, decorations and more. There will be something for everyone on Santa’s list! The Market will be surrounded by other attractions on Dilworth park like the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink and the Wintergarden and it will be joined by Christmas Village vendors in the City Hall Courtyard and North Apron. The open-air pop-up market is curated by organizers of Christmas Village in Philadelphia, which will also be set up across the street in LOVE Park for its 14th season.
