Stina Announces Monthly Guest Chef Charity Dinners with David Ansill, Joncarl Lachman and Phila Lorn

Stina BYO Chef Bobby Saritsoglou announces a brand new monthly Stina Guest Chef Series and Charity Dinner with three of Philly's finest chefs raising money in September, October and November for a different cause each month. Chef Phila Lorn will kick things off on Thursday, September 30th, with a dinner collaboration menu that will benefit Cambodian American Girls Empowering. For the second month, Stina will partner with Chef Joncarl Lachman of Noord and Winkel on Tuesday, October 28th. For the final fall event, Stina will partner with Chef David Ansill on Tuesday, November 30th. Each event will feature Stickman Brews, who will curate the evenings beer list to pair with the menus every month. For the September launch menu, guests will enjoy an eight course menu with dishes from Lorn and Saritsoglou for $65 per person, with an optional add on beer tasting with Stickman Brews for $10 per person.

Chickie's and Pete's Hosts Crabfries for Heroes Charity Benefit on National Fry Day

Chickie’s & Pete’s is once again celebrating National French Fry Day with their 7th Annual Crabfries for Heroes event which benefits the Fraternal Order of Police Survivors Fund. For every order of Crabfries® or a Crabfries® variation sold on Tuesday, July 13, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to this fund. All major Chickie's and Pete's locations in the Philadelphia region are participating, including Audubon, Bordentown, Drexel Hill, Egg Harbor, Glassboro, Marlton, Parx Casino, Roosevelt Blvd., South Philadelphia, Robbins Ave and Warrington. New this year, customers can choose from their choice of Crabfries® which includes Our World Famous Crabfries®, Crabby Sweets, Combo Fries, Ultimate Crabfries®, and the menu’s newest addition, Lobster Crabfries®.

Stina BYO and Musi Team Up for Collaboration Dinner to Benefit Attic Youth Center

Stina BYO Chef Bobby Saritsoglou joins forces with Chef Ari Miller of Musi on Tuesday, June 29th for a four-course collaboration dinner to raise money for The Attic Youth Center - as part of Philly Gay Pride Month and Stina’s Two Year Anniversary. The special menu for one night only includes options, such as Marinated Feta & Charred Lettuces, Fish Kebab Roasted in Fig Leaf. Malted Grain, Red Tahina. Dry-Aged Duck, Mint & Cherry Zhoug and Black Lime Malabi Charred Fruit & Olive Oil. Stickman Brews will also host a pop-up during the event with four beer pairings for each course, for only $10 for 8 ounce pours, or $5 for full-sized a la carte 16 ounce pours. Twenty percent of the evening's sales will go to Stina's June beneficiary, The Attic Youth Center to support programs for Philadelphia’s LGBTQ youth.

Sofitel Celebrates Philly Pride with Drag Tea, Gay Flag Exhibit, And New Charity Program

Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square, part of AccorHotels, presents a month-long celebration for June as Philadelphia Gay Pride Month. The Sofitel Philadelphia will raise a giant Philadelphia-version of the Gay Pride Flag to hang proudly outside the hotel on 17th Street. Inside, neighbors, guests and visitors are invited to visit the Hall of LGBTQ Flags Exhibition featuring six individual LGBTQ flags flying high above the lobby to celebrate the diversity of the local and hotel LGBTQ community. The raising of the flags coincides with a month-long benefit to support the William Way LGBT Community Center. On Saturdays, June 5th and 12th, Sofitel Philadelphia and Brittany Lynn’s Drag Mafia Present Sofitel's Pride Drag Tea featuring the Sofitel famous tea-service with an entertaining and drag twist. A portion of proceeds from the Drag Tea will go to support the capital campaign and operations at William Way LGBT Community Center.
