Revolution Taco Celebrates One Year Anniversary With Free Empanada Giveaway And All-You-Can-Eat Taco Party

Revolution Taco (2015 Walnut St, Philadelphia) hosts an all-day celebration for their One Year Anniversary tomorrow, Friday, January 13, 2017. From 12:00pm to 2:00pm, owners Carolyn Nguyen and Michael Sultan are giving away free empanadas. From 7:00pm to 10:00pm, the duo will host an all-you-can-eat taco party with a special anniversary taco, plus four other varities, and chips, salsa, Yard’s beer, DJ, sweets and more. Valley Forge Casino Resort Announces The Grand Opening Of Dueling Pianos By Howl At The Moon

Howl at the Moon brings the dueling piano experience to Philadelphia’s suburbs starting this week. Valley Forge Casino Resort (1160 First Avenue) and The Vault nightclub and music venue welcome Howl at the Moon each and every Saturday, with the grand opening slated for January 14, 2017. Get ready to sing, dance and howl as the versatile and talented musicians perform live music from 80’s rock, 90’s pop and today’s dance hits on pianos. Doors open at 8:00pm and the live show from 9pm to 12:30am. The party continues at The Vault until 2am. Admission is free and open to those 21 and up only.

Valley Forge Casino Resort (1160 First Avenue) laughs its way into the new year with performances from two comedy giants during Valley Forge Music Fair. New York’s lovable Queen of Mean, Lisa Lampanelli brings her raw brand of comedy to The Venue on Saturday, January 28, 2016 for two shows at 7:00pm and 10:00pm. Howard Stern alum and MadTV’s Artie Lange brings his stand-up act to the Event Center on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 8:00pm. Tickets for Lisa Lampanelli are available on Ticketmaster for $47.50, and tickets for Lange are available on Ticketmaster from $40- $55. Doors to both shows open one hour in advance.

Dim Sum House Announces Grand Opening In University City This Wednesday

Jane Guo and Jackson Fu announce the grand opening of Dim Sum House by Jane G’s at 3939 Chestnut Street in University City this Wednesday, January 11, 2017. This expansive and stylish Old Shanghai inspired restaurant, bar and lounge features 6,000 square foot of space and will seat over 225 people in five unique dining spaces. Three talented chefs will show off their expertise in the kitchen with a menu that focuses on two authentic styles of Chinese dim sum (Shanghai and Cantonese), plus fried rice, noodles, chef specialties and familiar Chinese favorites. At the bar, look for a full line of spirits, 19 beers, 10 signature cocktails, and wine by the glass and bottle. The restaurant is located on the second floor, with the entrance found between 39th and 40th streets on Chestnut.
