LISA LAMPANELLI
Comedy bad girl Lisa Lampanelli takes the stage on Saturday, January 28th at The Venue with shows at 7:00pm and 10:00pm. Lampanelli's raunchy, gut-busting performances recently earned the comedian a 2015 Best Comedy Album Grammy nomination for her last special Back to the Drawing Board. This marked Lisa's second Grammy nomination.
In the special, Lisa combines personal bits about her life with her trademark audience insults - all the while showing off her radically different look after having lost more than 100 pounds. That weight loss, which she has maintained for over four years, inspired her to write her own stage play Stuffed which recently ran off Broadway.
Lampanelli has been heralded as "more than a standup -- a standout,” by comedy legend Jim Carrey, Lampanelli is a cross between Don Rickles, Archie Bunker, and a vial of estrogen. She has won accolades from The King of All Media Howard Stern, who called her "a true original and a brilliant comedy mind who'll steal the show every time." Known for saying things that most people are afraid to think, Lisa Lampanelli's raunchy, gut-busting performances are wildly popular at theaters across the U.S. and Canada. This equal opportunity offender is a regular on late night television, and a frequent guest and guest host on Howard Stern's Sirius XM satellite radio shows.
Lisa's rise to the top of the comedy food chain began in 2002 when she was the only female comedian invited to skewer Chevy Chase on the NY Friars Club Comedy Central Roast. She soon became known as the “Queen of the Roasts”, going on to lambaste such names as Pamela Anderson, Jeff Foxworthy, William Shatner, Flava Flav, David Hasselhoff and, most recently, Donald Trump. Due to her success as a roaster, in 2009, Lisa was asked to serve as Roastmaster for the highly rated Comedy Central Roast of friend and fellow comic, Larry the Cable Guy.
Lampanelli became a household name when she joined 17 other celebrities on the fifth season of NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice.” The fifth installment of the show, with the largest-ever lineup of famous faces competing for charities of their choice, was a ratings bonanza for NBC. As a final four contestant, Lisa raised well over $100,000 for the Gay Men’s Health Crisis. She is currently starring as a series regular on Bounty Hunters, CMT's first-ever animated show.

ARTIE LANGE
Howard Stern alum and comedian Artie Lange will perform at the Event Center on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 8:00pm. In addition to the Howard Stern Show, Lange has appeared on MadTV and in feature films, co-hosts his own radio show, and even produced and starred in his own film.
One of the most sought after live comedians in the business, Lange is currently the host of “Artie Quitter“, which he started in 2015. Lange was a beloved regular on “The Howard Stern Show” for five years and during that time his first memoir, Too Fat To Fish became a New York Times bestseller, paving the way for his second book Crash and Burn, published in 2013. Artie’s first TV stand-up hour special, The Stench of Failure, premiered on Comedy Central in October 2014.
Lange began his career in the comedy clubs of New York City, where he helped to create the popular sketch comedy group Live on Tape. Lange’s breakout work with Live On Tape landed him his debut television role as one of the original series regulars on FOX’s Mad TV and from there he landed feature films like The Bachelor, Lost and Found with David Spade, and Old School, and Elf with Will Ferrell. He also co-wrote and produced the feature film Beer League. Richard Roeper gave it a “Thumbs Up,” and the readers of the New York Times rated it four out of five stars.
Lange is also a regular guest on The Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Best Damn Sports Show, Period. He was a guest roaster on Comedy Central’s Roasts of Hugh Hefner and William Shatner. Another milestone for Lange was selling out his Carnegie Hall performance for the New York Comedy Festival in 3 hours. He continues to sell out venues across the United States.
