BRAT Productions Kicks Off 2015 Theatre with Always Coming Soon: The Future at Painted Bride from January 15-17th

Feel more in The Future!  Dream better in The Future!  Live forever in The Future! BRAT Productions pairs together physical theater, rock and roll cabaret and a new photo exhibition in Always Coming Soon: The Future, from Thursday, January 15 through Saturday, January 17, 2015 at The Painted Bride Art Center (230 Vine Street). Follow the journey of a troupe of misfit vagabonds who find a 'machine' in a trash heap. As they struggle to decide whether or not to step inside, they reveal more questions than answers: what happens when the time passing is the only thing that is happening? East Passyunk Witch CRAFT Beer Crawl Casts Halloween Spell at 13 Philadelphia Restaurants and Bars

Grab your broomstick and fly around East Passyunk Avenue during the 5th Annual Witch CRAFT Beer Crawl on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Enjoy seasonal craft beers bubbling up in cauldrons at 13 bars and restaurants along Philadelphia's new restaurant row. Registration takes place at Garage (1231 EPA) from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Tickets are $6.66 (click HERE) and include $3.00 craft beers, a witch hat and a Witch CRAFT stamp card (for a chance to win $325 in prizes). Ray's Happy Birthday Bar Celebrates 75th Anniversary

Ray’s Happy Birthday Bar, 1200 East Passyunk Avenue, celebrates 75 years of birthday wishes, cheap drinks, familiar faces and jokes of the day. Ray’s, celebrated as one of America’s top dive bars, will host its 75th Anniversary Party on Sunday, December 1, 2013, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Turn back the clock to the late 1930s, where you can celebrate the end of Prohibition, gas at ten cents a gallon, and Ella Fitzgerald serving up "A Tisket A Tasket." Owners Lou and Rose Capozolli will offer drinks at “throw back” 1938 prices (SELECT drafts, whiskeys, more). Lite up your free pack of (candy) cigs as you say hubba-hubba to our Ray’s authentic cigarette girl. Get flapping to live music and jukebox sing-a-longs.
