Valley Forge Music Fair Celebrates Best Of The 70s, 80s and 90s With New Concerts Featuring Eddie Money, Starship, Barenaked Ladies

80s and 90s with four new shows at Valley Forge Music Fair. Get ready to travel back in time for your favorite hits starting with Barenaked Ladies on April 22nd, followed by rocker Eddie Money on May 12th, rounded out by rock-powerhouse Starship featuring Mickey Thomas on June 2nd, and finally, find out “Who’s Bad?” with a Michael Jackson tribute on June 16th. The Barenaked Ladies will be in the Event Center and start at 8:00pm, with doors opening at 7:00pm. Brat Aid: Hail to the Thief Brings Together Jess Conda's On a Sunday, Birds on a Wire and Teena Geist for Rockin' Benefit

Brat Productions is back for a special one-night-only performance that blends together theatre, rock and dance. Please join us for a special benefit to support the on-going works of Brat Productions. The show will feature a On a Sunday performing Radiohead's Hail to the Thief =Brat Productions mixes a theatre, rock and dance cocktail with Brat Aid: Hail to the Thief on Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Underground Arts (1200 Callowhill Street). Brat’s Artistic Director Jess Conda reunites her band ON A SUNDAY to perform Radiohead’s Hail to the Thief album in its entirety, including a special dance collaboration with Birds on a Wire. This special one-night-only engagement will feature the vocal stylings of Conda and the musical prowess of Mike Corso, Peter Gaffney, Zach Poyatt and Evan Smoker.  Bizarre meditation guru Teena Geist (alter ego of Mark McCloughan from No Face Performance Group) will kick-off the mayhem. Doors open at 7:30pm, with the show starts at 8:15pm. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $30 for  tickets that include beer and whiskey. Tickets are on sale now at www.bratproductions.org. Brat Productions Presents 3 Nights, 3 Stories, 3 Bands During Three Chord Fiction at Tin Angel

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Philadelphia’s favorite rock and roll theatre company BRAT Productions presents a cabaret of tiny tales of love.  Three Chord Fiction: Love Bites pairs teams of actors with musicians in a rock-theatre cabaret designed to introduce audiences to the next generation of cabaret performers and rock musicians.  Each team has one directive: to tell a musical tale of L-O-V-E.  Following the cabaret, BRAT welcomes a different guest band for an intimate set each night of the series. Performers will include Red 40, Cleo Phatra, Senor Papos and Jota, Len and the Ladies of the Cursed Church Theater. Rock and roll bands include The Fancy Balloons (February 4), TJ Kong (February 5) and Upholserty (February 6). Three Chord Fiction: Love Bites runs Tuesday, February 4, 2014 to Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Tin Angel, 20 South 2nd Street.  Performances begin at 8:00pm.  Tickets are ten dollars at www.bratproductions.org. The show is open to ages 21 and up.  (More after the jump.)
