Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center Welcomes Sweet Baby James, Tom Rush and Danny Paisley

Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center welcomes three folk and bluegrass artists this spring as part of the ongoing music series at the arts center. Sweet Baby James, – the #1 James Taylor Tribute Artist comes to Uptown! Saturday, April 30th at 7:30pm. The following weekend the mainstage fills with a double bill of Tom Rush on Saturday, May 7th at 7:00pm and bluegrass from Danny Paisley Sunday, May 8th at 7:00pm. Tickets for all shows are on sale now. Tickets for Sweet Baby James and Danny Paisley cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets to Tom Rush cost $40. Valley Forge Music Fair Celebrates Best Of The 70s, 80s and 90s With New Concerts Featuring Eddie Money, Starship, Barenaked Ladies

80s and 90s with four new shows at Valley Forge Music Fair. Get ready to travel back in time for your favorite hits starting with Barenaked Ladies on April 22nd, followed by rocker Eddie Money on May 12th, rounded out by rock-powerhouse Starship featuring Mickey Thomas on June 2nd, and finally, find out “Who’s Bad?” with a Michael Jackson tribute on June 16th. The Barenaked Ladies will be in the Event Center and start at 8:00pm, with doors opening at 7:00pm. Eddie Money, Starship with Mickey Thomas and Who’s Bad will take place at The Venue starting at 9:00pm, with doors opening at 8:00pm. Tickets for each concert are on sale now and available at Ticketmaster.com.

Wale Announced for FREE Hip Hop for Philly Concert During AIDS Education Month

Philadelphia FIGHT and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia present the “Hip Hop for Philly” free concert featuring Grammy nominated and chart-topping hip hop artist Wale. Tickets can be obtained only by young people aged 13-24 who receive a free HIV test at any participating agency or one of the Hip Hop for Philly free HIV testing events throughout Philadelphia.
