East Passyunk Revs Engines For 12th Annual Car Show And Street Festival With 140 Hot Rides, Street Food, Live Bands, Family Fun And More

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) is revving up for the 12th Annual Car Show and Street Festival on Sunday, July 30, 2017, from 11:00am to 4:00pm, on EPA between Broad and Dickinson streets. Over 140 muscle, classic, antique, custom and show cars, trucks and motorcycles will line the Avenue, with street vendors, rack sales, kids’ activities, live music and the Bang! Boom! CRAFT! Show in between. Wine and dine among the cars as award-winning restaurants and food trucks serve specially priced street food and summertime drinks. Admission is FREE for attendees and $20 for cars. Ardmore's Big Dig: A Free Construction-Themed Carnival For The Whole Family

The Ardmore Initiative along with several Cricket Avenue businesses will present the Big Dig on Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. The family-oriented construction carnival will take place along Cricket Avenue and on the building site of One Ardmore Place, the 110-unit apartment being built by Dranoff Properties in Ardmore’s vibrant downtown. The Big Dig is the first in a series of community events being rolled out by the business community to spotlight Ardmore as a live, work and play destination.

The Piazza At Schmidt's To Host 2017 Official Draft Party Of The Philadelphia 76ers

The Piazza at Schmidt’s Commons in Northern Liberties will host the 2017 Official Draft Party of the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, June 22 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fans are invited to watch the 2017 NBA Draft broadcast live on the Piazza’s 400-square-foot HD LED screen. The Sixers hold the third overall pick in addition to four second-round selections. While they watch the draft on the big screen, guests will enjoy appearances by Sixers legends, mascot Franklin, Sixers Dancers and more. The party will also feature a live DJ, trivia contests, vendors, silent auction, and food and drink specials from restaurants within the Piazza. The brand-new street festival will feature five blocks of street food, seasonal sips, craft beer, live music, sidewalk sales and free family fun on five blocks – from Broad to Dickinson streets. Twenty-seven award-winning restaurants and bars will bring their signature cuisine outside under the blue skies. New Spring Break Camp Lets Children Run Off And Join The Circus

Philadelphia School of Circus Arts announces a brand new, full-day Spring Break Circus Camp for students looking to run off to the big top. Children (ages seven to fourteen) are invited to walk the wire, take to the air and juggle their creativity from 9:00am to 3:00pm, between April 10-14, 2017, at PSCA's studio (5900A Greene Street).
