Girl Scout Inspired Cookie Shakes Return to P'unk Burger to Support Girls Empowerment Programs

Relive the favorite flavors of your childhood with Girl Scout inspired cookie milkshakes at P’unk Burger at 1823 East Passyunk. Passyunk’s organic burger, fries and shake shop announces seven limited edition cookie shakes that all feature Girl Scout cookies through early April 2022 - or while supplies last. Shakes will include dark chocolate salted brownie, toasted coconut and caramel sea salt, chocolate peanut butter swirl, mint cookie, vegan mint cookie, vegan caramel cookies and creme, and vegan chocolate peanut butter swirl. P’unk Burger donate one dollar from every shake sold, plus 100% of quarters from the P’unk Burger Arcade, to support Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania’s Girl Experience and Outreach Programming.

After a year of dark stages, millions in lost ticket sales and thousands of lost jobs, the Philadelphia theatre scene will rise again after the pandemic shut-downs with 11 days, 64 organizations, 72 events, and hundreds of performances. This fourth year celebration will showcase the strength, resilience, talent and diversity of the tri-state region’s theatre scene through virtual and in-person shows. Relive the favorite flavors of your childhood with four Girl Scout inspired cookie milkshakes at P’unk Burger at 1823 East Passyunk. Passyunk’s organic burger, fries and shake shop announces four limited edition cookie shakes that all feature Girl Scout cookies through March 31, 2019. Shakes will include toasted coconut and caramel sea salt, campfire s'mores, chocolate peanut butter and jelly, and mint cookie. On Saturdays and Sundays during March (at various times), local Girl Scouts will sell cookies in front of the eatery. P’unk Burger will also donate 100% of quarters from the P’unk Burger Arcade to support Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania’s Girl Experience and Outreach Programming.

East Passyunk's Top Restaurants Take to the Streets for Flavors on the Avenue Festival

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District presents Flavors on the Avenue street festival on Sunday, April 29, 2018, from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The city’s first big restaurant festival of the spring will feature five blocks of street food, seasonal sips, craft beer, live music, sidewalk sales and free family fun – from Broad to Dickinson streets. Over twenty-four award-winning restaurants, cafes and bars will bring their signature cuisine outside under the blue skies. Craft beer, signature cocktails and wine will pour from select restaurants out on the street, as well as inside the new Founders Brewing Co. Tasting Tent. East Passyunk Flavors on the Avenue is free to attend and open to all ages. Food will be specially priced between $3.00 and $6.00 (average) and be pay-as-you-go from individual restaurants.
