“The Give and Get promotion is a great way to give back to those most in need this holiday season while also supporting our local restaurant community and enjoying a delectable new dessert,” said Elizabeth Moselle, Director of Corridor Revitalization & Business Development at Mt. Airy USA. “Our restaurants really wanted to find a way to give back this season. This promotion helps them to get coats on the backs of those who need them and helps local charities achieve their mission.”

- Earth Bread & Brewery (7136 Germantown Ave) – Chocolate Baby Cake or Bread Pudding

As the weather grows colder and budgets are stretched thin, low-income individuals and families are increasingly challenged to equip themselves with the essential gear they need to face the harsh Philadelphia winter. New or gently used coats of all sizes, child through adult, are welcome.
All coats collected will be donated to local charities serving those in need, including Cradles to Crayons, Northwest Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network (NPIHN), Face to Face and The Salvation Army. Each organization is actively involved in finding solutions to poverty in the region, tackling issues ranging from hunger and nutrition to emergency housing to providing essentials for children and more.
The Give and Get promotion is presented by the Business Association of Mt. Airy (BAM), an initiative of Mt. Airy USA. For more information on the Give and Get promotion, please visit http://gomtairy.com/events/give-and-get-in-mt.-airy.html.
