Nick's Bar And Grille Fires Up Five Special Burgers And Five Dollar Ground Bacon Burgers To Celebrate Five Year Milestone

Newlyweds Joseph “Joey Dog” and Nicole Schultice celebrate five years of owning Old City's corner bar with a week-long celebration starting today. Nick's Bar and Grille at 16 South Second Street debuts five special burgers, one per day, to celebrate the milestone. Additionally, all existing burgers on the menu - including their Zagat #1 rated ground bacon burger - will be only $5.00 all week. The countdown begins today and runs through Friday, May 26th when the couple will debut their "5th Birthday Burger" smothered in house-made beer cheese, bacon, frizzled onions and jalapenos.

Cinder Taps New Executive Chef, Debuts Happy Hour And New Food Menu

Teddy Sourias of Craft Concepts Group (BRU Craft & Wurst, U-Bahn, Uptown Beer Garden, Finn McCool's Ale House) announces a new chef, new menu and the debut of happy hour at Cinder at 1500 Locust Street. The Rittenhouse neighborhood cider/sour bar and artisan pizza kitchen welcomes Oliver Muguia as the new Executive Chef. Munguia debuts his first menu since taking over the kitchen, with over a dozen new dishes including pale ale mussels, arrabbiata wood-fired pizza, duck spring rolls, mojo shrimp and octopus, cherry and chevre salad and mushroom empanaditas. Six of the new dishes will be featured on Cinder's first-ever happy hour that runs Monday through Friday, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Philadelphia Food Influencers and Bartenders Compete in Florida Keys and Key West Cook-Off and Cocktail Competition

The Florida Keys and Key West Cook-Off and Florida Keys Cocktail Competition will bring a touch and taste of the Keys to Philadelphia on Monday, March 6th. Walnut Hill College will serve as the venue for a special cook-off that will feature 24 local food and travel influencers and writers. Instead of snapping, tweeting and blogging they will get on the other side of the stove and cook up two Florida Keys dishes with direction from Chef Bobby Stoky. In conjunction with the cook-off, four Philadelphia bartenders will shake and stir up Florida Keys-inspired cocktails. A winner from each competition wins a trip to the Florida Keys and Key West.
