Grand Opening Alert! Revival Pizza Pub Debuts in Chester County from Stove and Tap Owners

Stove and Co. Restaurant Group announces the grand opening of Revival Pizza Pub this Friday, June 18th at 4:00pm at Weatherstone Town Center. Revival Pizza Pub is both a new brick-and-mortar restaurant and a new hospitality concept by owners Justin Weathers and Joe Monnich, in partnership this time with Hankin Group. This new opening comes hot on the heels of recent openings by Weathers and Monnich in West Chester with Stove and Tap and DePaul's Table in Ardmore. When the doors open, patrons will find in Revival a spacious, stylish and welcoming 6,700 square foot dining room that has a 40-foot shaped L bar, expansive and distanced dining for up to 190 people, modern vibes, natural light and a giant outdoor cafe area with shaded tables. For the menu, Monnich and his culinary team will focus on Modern American fare including housemade pasta, mussels, handhelds, small plates and pizza using Monnich's secret sourdough recipe. For the bar, look for dozens of varieties of Boozy Lemonades, cocktails using fresh homemade mixes - along with beer by the draft, can and bottle. For wines, look for a focus on natural and biodynamic selections. Revival Pizza Pub will be open this weekend on Friday and Saturday, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Starting Monday, Revival's normal weekly hours will be Sunday to Thursday, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, and Friday and Saturday, 4:00pm to 10:00pm. "The grand opening of Revival Pizza Pub was specially timed for when we could all relish in the rebuilding of post pandemic dining," said Weathers. "This will be the Revival of suburban dining out after a year of having to do things very differently. We call it a Pizza Pub because we want everyone to know that there is going to be a very real bar scene here - there is delicious pizza but it is so much more than that with housemade pastas, sandwiches, mussels, salads, desserts and a full cocktail, beer and wine menu. This is another concept that we have tailored to the town and location around us - but it is definitely scalable where we could launch other Revival Pizza Pubs in other areas like we have with Stove and Tap. For now, however, all hands are on deck to make this grand opening one of our best ever - and we simply can not wait to meet our new neighbors, nearby workers and area visitors."

Revival Pizza Pub is a Modern American Restaurant offering a variety of appetizers, salads, pizzas, sandwiches and large plates using fresh and local ingredients with a fun, family friendly atmosphere in Weatherstone Town Center. Revival will start this weekend with limited hours, and then expand to be open seven days a week starting next week. Weekday lunch and weekend brunch will be added in the near future. Programming will include happy hour, live music and more. A full bar featuring craft cocktails, drafts and natural wines will be available with outdoor dining in the spring and summer months.

For the menu, award-winning Chef and partner Joe Monnich and his culinary team will operate the scratch kitchen using fresh seasonal ingredients to highlight the American classics. The menu includes well priced options that range from special sections of pizza, housemade pasta, mussels, handhelds, small plates, salads and more. The menu also includes ample vegan and gluten free options. For the stand-out dish, Weathers said, "My favorite is definitely the pizza - we are using the freshest of ingredients and keeping things simple. Joe is using his secret sourdough recipe that is a fermented dough that produces an amazing chew and crisp, with a stand-out flavor. We have brought in a top of the line Pizza Master two deck oven to cook pies in four minutes. The pizza is definitely one of the many stars coming out of our kitchen." For the kids' Revival features special kid's only dishes served in frisbees for added fun and whimsy. Desserts are also family and kid-friendly, with sundaes, banana splits and other dishes that will appeal to the sweet tooths out there.

For the bar program, look for ten beer taps focusing on the best in craft styles from local and national brands. The draft selection will be complimented by an extensive selection of cans and bottles. For cocktails, look for fresh juices, house mixes and seasonal rotating selections. Stand-outs on the cocktail list are the boozy lemonades - Bangin Lemonade in four flavors Lavender, Yuzu, Strawberry OR Honey Basil. Served with Boardroom Vodka. Weathers said,"Our new boozy lemonades are perfect for hot summer days. You can pick from four bases and upgrade to any spirit of your choosing. You can literally customize them in any way you want - so there are dozens of options! The standard on the menu comes with Boardroom Vodka - who is located next to Stove and Tap Lansdale. We are good friends with the owners and we also think they have an excellent product we want to continue to get behind."

For wines, this will be the first Stove and Co. Restaurant Group property that will feature an entire program built around natural wines - with more than a dozen selections by the glass and bottle. They also will feature European style wines that pair well with the cuisine, and focus on biodynamic wines.

For interior vibes and buildout, Weathers and Monnich tapped Architect and Interior Designer Niko Kotopoulos of Nest Studio for the top to bottom renovation. The trio have worked together in the past, including as recently as the construction and build-out for Stove and Tap West Chester. For the final product, patrons will find a sweeping 6,700 square foot space featuring modern vibes, natural light and oversize windows, and expansive outdoor cafe seating. Look for an open-air layout with decor that brings the space to life with modern colors and designs with some natural finishes and rustic hints; polished concrete floor; grays, blacks and blues color palette; large open windows and natural daytime lighting. The design was created to embrace the picturesque views from the windows and the open-air nature of Chester County and all its splendor.

For seating, the layout includes 20 seats at the bar, 120 in the various dining rooms, and 50 outside to start (with expansion up to 100 later in the summer). The dining room features a forty foot long L-shaped bar that is made from reclaimed aluminum and poured concrete. The layout will also feature semi-private party dining space for special events. Outdoor seating is available on a new patio in the front and the back of the restaurant. Look for beautiful landscaping, beer garden decor, lush greenery and live music.

For location, Revival Pizza Pub is located in Weatherstone Town Center in Chester Springs, PA - at the crossroads of the busy intersections of Routes 100 and 401 and minutes from the PA Turnpike in a highly populated area. Chester Springs is currently booming with new residential construction, young families moving in, and emerging retail and restaurants. Weatherstone itself is a walkable, mixed-use community with a diverse demographic. Weathers and Monnich aim to create a new experience for all the young families moving into the area - and they wanted to create a space they could see their own young families dining in and enjoying. They want to increase approachability for all ages. They also want to complement the existing restaurants in the area with an expanded cocktail and wine program - and set a new bar for future restaurants.

“We see Chester Springs as a booming area with a lot of young families," said Weathers. "Revival is a place where all ages can comfortably come and have the experience they want 7 days a week. The two of us are both fathers to young children, so we sought to create something that we can bring our own families to.”

Restaurant Group has worked and partner with Hankin before on Al Pastor in Exton - and we are so pleased to work together again on another restaurant and another exciting concept coming to the suburbs."

For job creation, when it opens this week, look for Revival Pizza Pub to create approximately 5 full time jobs and 55 part time positions for the opening phase - with more jobs to come.
