Chickie's and Pete's Teams Up with Eagles Legend Brian Dawkins on New Burger

Chickie's and Pete's has partnered with Eagles Legend Brian Dawkins on the debut of a mouth-watering new charity burger to help The Impact Foundation. Starting today, Chickie's and Pete's will debut The B Dawk Impact Burger, a Primal Supply grass-fed burger with jerk spices, provolone, Caribbean spiced pineapple sauce, jalapeño chimichurri, topped with a fried egg and arugula. It is served with a side of Crabby Sweets with Cinnamon Maple Sauce. The new burger was designed with help from the NFL Hall of Famer, and five dollars from each and every Impact Burger go to The Impact Foundation to provide inspiration, education and resources to youth, families and communities in need. The B Dawk Impact Burger retails for $16.95, with extras available that include two lobster tails for $11 extra, crab cake for $8 extra and cold shrimp for $5. All full service Chickie's and Pete's locations in the Philadelphia region will carry the burger and participate in the fundraiser including Audubon, Bordentown, Drexel Hill, Egg Harbor, Glassboro, Marlton, Parx Casino, Roosevelt Blvd., South Philadelphia, Robbins Ave and Warrington. Philly foodies and sports fans, come hungry! Starting today, Chickie's and Pete's full service locations will be firing up a tasty new burger on the menu - all for a good cause. The B Dawk Impact Burger features a combination of flavors selected specially by Brian Dawkins himself, with its name inspired by the NFL Hall of Famer's Brian Dawkins' Impact Foundation. Created 2019, The Foundation promotes belief in the power of transformative moments by triggering a spark in young people who have the desire to make positive decisions in life and just need the tools to make it happen. Five dollars from every single burger sold will help the Foundation with this important work.
For sourcing, Chickie's selected only the best for this burger with a greater social purpose. The grass-fed beer was sourced from award-winning Primal Supply Meats and Founder/Butcher Heather Marold Thomason. The burger features jerk spices, provolone, Caribbean spiced pineapple sauce, jalapeño chimichurri, topped with a fried egg and arugula. It is served with a side of Crabby Sweets with Cinnamon Maple Sauce.
As a kick-off for the new burger, Dawkins and Chickie's started the week with a special group of foodies and football fans - the youth at George Washington High School Northeast Philadelphia. Dawkins fed and had lunch with the students, as well as sat down for a chat and to answer questions. For the students, it was a win-win with great food and legendary company. After the special lunch, Dawkins himself met with fans at Chickie's and Pete's in South Philly to sign his new book and to chow down on the best new game day (and every day) grub in the region.

ABOUT BRIAN DAWKINS
Dawkins is regarded as one of the greatest safeties of all time. He was viewed as the leader of the Eagles' defense, named to nine Pro Bowls and five All-Pro first teams during his career. He also made one Super Bowl appearance with the Eagles in XXXIX, which was played in his home city of Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to his playing career, Dawkins served the Eagles as an executive of football operations for player development and was with the Eagles organization when they won Super Bowl LII.
