Philadelphia proudly celebrates June as Philly Gay Pride Month. We’ve compiled a list of 45 top ways to celebrate Gay Pride in our amazing city. While the pandemic pressed pause on events last year, Philly Gay Pride has never been stronger and more important. The pandemic has had a profoundly negative impact on our city’s LGBTQ community. Gay owned businesses were forced to shut down. Gay organizations and non-profits lost critical revenue for life-saving programs. The pandemic forced gay teens and college students into quarantine and isolation - losing the safety net of our city’s diverse and supportive larger community. Older gay seniors who sometimes already experience higher rates of social isolation were further isolated during months of prescribed social distancing and staying at home. The list continues as to how the pandemic specifically affected our gay and queer community - and it’s time to look ahead, come together and support one another. From Pride Days at Parks on Tap and Philadelphia Flower Show, to Pride Nights at Philadelphia Zoo and Concourse Dance Club, to LGBTQ Circus and Yoga workshops, to Pride Month events as part of Philly Beer Week, there is something for everyone this year.

Recently, Singer fed the entire hospital staff of Pennsylvania Hospital for Thanksgiving with meals purchased from Manny's Catering.

Craft Concepts Group isn’t letting the Grinch steal it’s Holiday spirit. Teddy Sourias and the elves at CCG announce the season grand opening of Tinsel Christmas Pop-up at 112 S. 12th Street. New for 2020, look for a new festive over-the-top streetery, a new twinkling light display, and a brand-new charity for the Canned Good Cocktails. Additionally, look for a new snow machine to bring a touch of a white Christmas to Midtown Village. Christmas cocktails will again be served out of ornaments, boots and snow globes, with food coming from the new sister restaurant next door, Sueno.

Philadelphia Restaurants Get Creative During Sweater Weather with Igloos, Greenhouses, Blankets and Shape-Shifting Beer Gardens

Sweater weather is here and while outdoor dining is still having a record moment during the most challenging of years, Philadelphia region restaurants and attractions are getting creative to survive the cold weather. Starting this weekend, private heated individual greenhouses are taking over a Center City street outside Harper's Garden. The Greenhouses at Harper's Garden by FCM Hospitality will debut tonight with private seating for four to nine people. Over in Northern Liberties, plastic igloos that seat two, four, six and up to nine are popping up poolside at the former Vesper Dayclub that has pivoted to a year-round high end steak-house by Glu Hospitality. Over at Charlie was a sinner and Bar Bombón customers are being kept warm inside and out with hot drinks out of thermos bottles, and free custom blankets to put on their lap while they enjoy sweater weather - and that they get to take home. In Bucks County, Pennsylvania, a few minutes from Philadelphia, Parx Casino has reopened their "shape-shifting" beer garden under a new name and layout.

Craft Concepts Group Announces Grand Opening Of Sueño Restaurant And Tequila Bar

Craft Concepts Group and owner Teddy Sourias announce the grand opening of Sueño this Friday, October 9, 2020 at 4:00pm at 114 S. 12th Street. Sueño showcases Day of the Dead inspired decor, original art pieces from the region's top artists, traditional and fusion Mexican cuisine by Executive Chef Caroline Hough, Puerto Rican-style empanadas from Tata's Empanadas, margaritas and cocktails, and an extensive list of tequilas. This new pop-up restaurant will occupy the first two floors of the building that Sourias recently purchased before the global pandemic. The plan was to put in a full service, top to bottom renovated and stunning restaurant like he is famous for - until the shut down halted his grand plans for his newest restaurant and eatery. While a full styling and renovation is still on the books for after the pandemic, Sourias wanted to activate the space and bring it to life with his long-time goal of a Mexican restaurant and tequila bar.

Teddy Sourias and Craft Concepts Group announce the season grand opening of Tinsel Christmas Pop-up Bar at 116 S. 12th Street, Philadelphia. The mad elves from Tradesman's, BRU Craft & Wurst, Cinder Copper & Lace, U-Bahn, Uptown Beer Garden, Kontrol and Finn McCool's Ale House have spent months decking the halls to bring this holiday sensation back with an even bigger space, extended hours, more days, extra twinkle, added glitter, festive holiday tunes and more. New surprises include music playlist curated with help from Mr. Christmas himself, DJ Robert Drake from XPN, and a custom take-home Tinsel soup can with cocktail to benefit MANNA. The holiday-themed cocktail and craft beer bar will grand open on Thursday, December 6, 2018 and run through New Year's Day. Tinsel's hours will be Monday and Tuesday, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 2:00pm to Midnight, Saturday Noon to Midnight, and Sunday Noon to 10:00pm. Tinsel will offer happy hour specials Monday through Friday 5:00pm to 6:00pm with $2 off select craft beer, Winter Wonderland cocktails and wine.
