South Street Celebrates Philadelphia Collection with Giant Open-Air Runway Show
/South Street Headhouse District (SSHD) celebrates the Philadelphia Collection with Fashion Under the Shambles, on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, with doors opening at 6:00pm. The Headhouse Square Shambles (200 Pine Street) will be transformed into a giant open-air runway that will showcase men’s and women’s cutting-edge, street styles from 21 SSHD boutiques and salons. America's Next Top Model Finalist Cory Wade Hindorff will preside as master of ceremonies, and architect/couture fashion designer Conrad Booker will debut dazzling new fashion installations. VIP tickets are $25 and include a reserved seat, swag bags, two drink tickets and complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Free general admission is available for standing room only. Fashion Under the Shambles showcases the best of local Philadelphia fashion with unexpected and innovative collaborations between the boutiques and salons on Fabric Row and throughout SSHD. "The eclectic mix across the runway will be a celebration of how on trend South Street is this very second," said Brennan. Participating boutiques and salons will include:

America's Next Top Model Finalist Cory Wade Hindorff preside as master of ceremonies. Hindorff lives in the neighborhood and is often spotting frequenting SSHD boutiques, stores and restaurants. As a special bonus, architect, couture fashion designer and visual merchandiser Conrad Booker will debut new fashion installations that will pop under the Shambles. Booker’s creations have been showcased locally, regionally and nationally, including on the hit television show, Project Runway. Music will be provided by DJ Patrick Feliciano from KBM Productions. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided by Bridget Foy's, Headhouse Crab & Oyster, Redwood and Twisted Tail.
Doors open at 6:00pm, with the show started at 7:00pm. Event is held under the cover of the Shambles, rain or shine. Fashionable attire required. Event is 21 and up.
