Past registered members of Diner en Blancautomatically will receive notice of registration going on sale.
In preparation for the grand affair, co-hosts Natanya DiBona and Kayli Moran will throw a special preview party for past attendees and potential guests on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The free party will move to an exciting new location under the cover of the Headhouse Square Shambles in South Street Headhouse District.
This unique and historic venue, adjacent to one of America’s most famous streets, ties in with the "Philadelphia Neighborhoods" theme of this year's annual table decorating contest. Area florists, event planners, visual directors and home crafters will present elegant and elaborate table displays that pay homage to fifteen of Philadelphia’s most celebrated neighborhoods. A grand prize and people’s choice winner will each be awarded complimentary registration to Diner en Blanc - Philadelphia, a select number of ‘phase one’ registration invitations for friends/family, and other surprises.
Garces Catering, DiBruno Brothers and Luke Palladino Catering (new for 2015) will be sampling items from their Diner en Blanc picnics. Touché Accessories will be selling an array of elegant white accessories including hats, fascinators and gloves. There will also be live entertainment, as well as a wine tasting by Apothic Wines (official wine sponsor of the 2015 US Diner en Blanc series).
Past attendees will also reconnect with friends they have made over the last three years, while potential guests can meet organizers and volunteers to learn about the event for the first time. Find out what to bring, what to wear and where to buy everything! The preview party is free and open to the public, ages 21 and up only. No RSVP is required.
